Is Amal Alamuddin a gold-digger, and using her new husband George Clooney for his bottomless bank accounts? Rumors have been floating around for months that George and Amal were getting a divorce – but the odds of Amal kissing her husband’s endless supply of cash and luxurious houses goodbye are slim to none. Then again, if the couple does get divorced, Amal could make out like a bandit. Amal Alamuddin was well off before she met the actor, but since marrying him in 2014, she has allegedly gotten accustomed to her new lavish lifestyle. Well sadly this report is mostly bogus since Amal has been used to a lavish lifestyle all of her life as her family are amongst the elite of her native Lebanon.
The June 8 edition of Star Magazine reveals that when Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney got married last year in Italy, the human rights attorney refused to sign a prenup! Star Magazine reveals, “Suddenly, Amal was thrust into a world of private jets, couture fashion, and an array of mansions around the world to call home. While George seems happier with his new wife than he has ever been, sources close to the Hollywood icon are questioning Amal’s motives for marrying him.
According to Star’s sources, in the event of a divorce, Amal would receive half of everything George Clooney has made or purchased since they tied the knot, and that includes his new mansion in the United Kingdom. The insider explained, “The buzz among his friends is that Amal could make up to $20 Million off from George in the next two years alone. And if they ever did divorce – the courts would award her enough to maintain her current, extravagant lifestyle, all at George’s expense.”
It sounds like marrying George Clooney was a win-win situation for Amal Alamuddin. While they are together the actor is showering her with gifts and spoiling her with mansions and jet-setting. And, if the marriage goes belly up, she will receive half of everything he has made and possibly even half of his houses.
