Will Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney divorce over their career mismatch and George’s intellectual weakness, at least as compared to his brilliant wife – is George simply not smart enough to hold Amal’s interest? and Amal Alamuddin have always seemed like they are going to divorce as they are a mismatch to me, even though I’m apparently in the minority in that regard. For all intents and purposes, George Clooney is an A-list movie star and Amal Alamuddin is an A-list political star – so a match made in heaven right? Especially since George Clooney has always professed to be this super well-rounded politico who knows about everything that’s happening in the world. But Amal Alamuddin is an internationally recognized United Nations lawyer who is considered one of the best barristers in the world… and George Clooney’s gone to the Oscars a couple of times. Again, a mismatch….
For example, while Amal Alamuddin works on an important international human rights case, George Clooney was schmoozing at Monday’s SeriousFun Children’s Network Gala at Avery Fisher Hall. When it came time to speak to the press, George stated, “Since 1988 these camps have brought over a half a million sick kids and their families from over five . . .[stumbling] from over 50 countries, 500 countries would be too many. There aren’t actually that many.” He then added, “My wife’s the smart one.”
Well, that we know, George, that we know. Honestly, how much longer is Amal Alamuddin going to be happy with the Hollywood lifestyle, especially if it takes her away from her own career? She’s not going to sacrifice her career for anything, much less settling down in Los Angeles and becoming Mrs. George Clooney and popping out his babies. Either George will have to be ok with that, or the two will get a divorce even faster than most people predicted.
