Which two Gotham cast members are dating in real life? Fans of FOX’s popular comic inspired drama Gotham are going to love this! Apparently two members of the Gotham cast found love on the set of the TV show and are officially an item. Benjamin McKenzie and Morena Baccarin are officially dating, the two actors forged a relationship together while filming Gotham, the popular drama – a prequel to Batman, the story follows the life of James Gordon (McKenzie’s character). McKenzie and Baccarin made their first official debut as a couple when they walked the red carpet together at the 2015 Emmy Awards – although they are being tight-lipped about their relationship.
Ben and Morena’s Gotham characters, James Gordon and Leslie Thompson actually fell in love during Season 1 of the FOX drama. Their chemistry in Gotham City was unbelievable, and apparently the sparks that were flying on-screen were actually real. E! Online is reporting that the couple is now dating in real life – and couldn’t be happier. Now, let’s just hope that they don’t break up … that could make filming a bit awkward in the future.
This actually isn’t the first time that Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin worked together, they both starred on the drama “The O.C.” many years ago, but in a recent interview Ben revealed that he didn’t even remember Morena being on the set of teen sudser – apparently she didn’t make a lasting impression on him. That’s awkward!
Gotham spoilers tease that Season 2 of the FOX drama will premiere on Monday September 21, and fans are counting down the hours until James Gordon is back on our television screens and policing Gotham City.
