Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been seen spending time in his studio together working on their much-anticipated duet and Miranda Lambert can’t believe the two “The Voice” coaches are boldly recording music together so fast. There have been rumors that Blake and Gwen are working on their masterpiece together and it looks pretty undeniable after a Gwen sighting at Blake’s studio in Los Angeles on Wednesday, November 18.
Although she also looked fabulous, Gwen Stefani also looked ready to work in a red leather jacket, low-slung jeans and a black t-shirt. We can only imagine if Gwen was at the studio for support or to visit her new boyfriend, Stefani would go a little more glam and a little less like she’s getting down to business. We fully expect to hear Gwen’s version of country any time now.
Last month, Entertainment Tonight claimed that their source confirmed Stefani and Shelton were working on a joint project and that it would be a country song for the lovebirds to sing together. There were even claims that Gwen and Blake would debut their new song on their show “The Voice.”
It seems that the insiders at ET may have been right too because they reported again on the recording studio sighting and it doesn’t look like anyone was just hanging out. The musical couple have got to be working on something together.
We know one person who can’t be happy about Blake and Gwen’s haste to jump in the studio and start recording music together. When Shelton was married to Miranda Lambert, they country star couple used to perform together often. Now that they are no longer dueting either privately or professionally, it didn’t take Blake Shelton long to fill both of those voids with his competition on “The Voice.”
While Miranda Lambert is obviously putting on a tough front, there is no way the “Little Red Wagon” singer is unaffected by all the attention Blake’s new relationship is getting him. Lambert was rumored to be linked up a few times but she’s not seeing anyone serious. It was recently reported that Miranda was “casually dating” which means she is single.
No one likes to be single and lonely while their ex rubs their nose in their newfound happiness. Now if a Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton duet starts getting heavy rotation on the radio, Miranda Lambert is going to be completely disgusted.
