Five chefs are left but the challenges that await them are meant to be the hardest they’ll ever face. So on tonight’s all new episode of “Hell’s Kitchen”, the question was not who will crack under the pressure but who will be unfortunate enough to be the first one to do so?

And right from the beginning, Ramsay chose not hold back on the first individual challenge. The chefs arrived to work for another excruciating day in the kitchen and what they walked in was a small concert. Hell’s Kitchen was hosting a private for the symphony and its patrons.

So Ramsay told the chefs that their first challenge was to cook an entrée for everyone using up only forty-five mintues in the kitchen. Or in other words they had to cook an entrée per minute and sadly some faltered under the pressure because of that. To cook was one thing but to then “sell” the dish to the patrons was quite another.

T’s lobster dish received the lowest rating though she did try to give it her all when she was selling it. And Meghan was actually stumped when it came time to push her product. So although her dish came in second – there’s a chance she could have won if only she had the gift of gab.

But ultimately the winner of the first challenge was Milly. He created Cajun hush puppies that at first looked to be too simple compared to the other dishes. Yet taste wise it was the best out of everyone’s.

Hence, as the winner, he was offered a helicopter ride around the city and he chose to take T with him.

As for the losers, they had to prepare the pepper for the later kitchen service. And that wasn’t too bad. They sure sneezed a bit and for the most Nick did complain a lot about everything. But other than annoy Meghan, losing could have been a lost worse. Anyways it wasn’t long before Milly and T returned to help set up the kitchen.

Thus everything should have operated, at least by that point, like a well-oiled machine. Yet something surprisingly went wrong and it left a burnt smell in the kitchen.

Michelle went to use bathroom and she did so while she had something on the stove. So of course the pot boiled over and a created a mini fire in the kitchen. Though luckily neither Ramsay nor the diners were there to catch the mistake.

Now if only that was the first mistake of the night?

At the dinner service, Ramsay dismissed his regular sous chefs and informed his black jackets that they would each be taking a turn at filling in for the role. So the first to take over was Milly. Typically Milly has a low baritone but this time Ramsay asked him to speak up.

And Milly did deliver. He kept the kitchen moving and nothing went pass him. However when it was Michelle’s turn to play sous chef and Milly had to take charge of the fish station – he kept messing up. His dishes were either undercooked or overcooked. And it was like he never recovered.

Replacing someone on their station wasn’t going to be an easy transition but Milly didn’t pick up pace until good friend T had taken over from Meghan who took over from Michelle.

Yet Milly’s station wasn’t the only one to go down in flames. Nick was on meat and he screwed it up. It was like he had forgotten how to cook the wellington. And later when he had taken over from T as the sous chef, the mess he left behind still ended up ruining the dinner service.

Nick had run through a lot of meat. By a certain point it was like he wasting them and so people had to be convinced to taking fish over meat. And when he handed over the station to T – she didn’t know were half the products, he was supposed to be working on, were. He hadn’t put the lamb in the oven when she was calling out orders and so she had to cook that from scratch. Thus making the Chef apologize to the diners because their food was going to take up a lot of time.

And after everything was said and done, the chefs all tried to vote of either Nick or Michelle. Michelle by the way only made one mistake in the kitchen but, because no one likes working with her; they were willing to send her home. You know in order to keep Milly who everyone likes.

Only Ramsay refused her nomination. He said the only people that should have been put up for elimination were Milly and Nick. Especially as it was those two that stopped everyone else from delivering a flawless dinner service.

So who went home? The underdog or the best friend.

Well, no shocker here, Ramsay chose to dismiss Nick from the kitchen. Nick’s time, both on his station and as a sous chef, each had its own issues. And frankly Ramsay didn’t want to have to keep teaching him. So he sent Nick home and Milly was left as the last man standing.

THE END!
