“How To Get Away With Murder” spoilers tease that the breakout drama from Shonda Rhimes will return to ABC on Thursday January 29. The thrilling new TV show followed the murder mystery of Sam Keating – who was officially killed off by his wife Annalise’s law students and his corpse was burnt to a crisp to cover up any evidence on the winter finale. Generally on TV shows when a character is killed off, they don’t return. But according to How To Get Away With Murder spoilers, Sam’s portrayor Tom Verica will still be a central character on the show and will appear in flashbacks.
GLOBE got a chance to chat with Verica about the January 29 premiere of “How To Get Away With Murder,” and they leaked some juicy spoilers in their latest edition of the magazine. Apparently, not only will Tom Verica be back as Sam Keating in a slew of flashbacks, but he says we will finally learn who killed Lila – and it might not have been him! Verica dished to GLOBE, “I am in the first episode back from the break. Producer Peter Norwalk has intimated that there are situations that come up that will bring me back, with the conclusion of finding out who killed Lila.”
It has been implied on “How To Get Away With Murder” since day one that Sam Keating killed Lila, however considering all of the twists and turns in the thriller – we would actually be shocked if that turned out to be true. And, it sounds like Sam Keating’s portrayer feels the same way. On Lila’s murder Verica explained to GLOBE, “played it as if I had not done it. I like to think not. It’s twofold as an actor: I like playing against what everyone assumes, that he is guilty by association by having the affair.”
