#iZombie starts with Liv in bed with Lowell. She says yes then no and then says they need a safe word. She flinches then goes back to saying yes. She says that’s the ticket and calls him a good boy. He’s rubbing her feet. Liv says she forgot how good it feels to be touched. She gets a call from Major but doesn’t take it so she can focus on her new honey. Next day, Liv sits in the car listening to the radio and says sex is back on the menu now. She listens to a woman on a radio show about a cheating guy.

The host says to cut him loose but she says she’s keeping the guy but will murder the slut. She gives out a tag number for the cheating hussy. Ravi is waiting at the police department and asks when Major will be released. The counter chick gets sassy with Ravi and advises him not to be friends with criminals. He finds a kid’s magazine and works the puzzle section. Peyton shows up and says Major is being held in violation of habeas corpus statutes and threatens a lawsuit.

She sees Ravi and his kids magazine and he says he’s reading it for the articles. They release Major who has been beaten severely. They are both stunned. Peyton says asks who was he fighting with and Major says he thinks it was the Sons of Anarchy. He says it was about his quote to the reporter about the police not working the missing kids case. He says he just wants to find Jerome and Eddie. Ravi says Emily Sparrow was kidnapped by crazy cultists and says they found a bunch of remains there.

Ravi says Jerome and Eddie’s remains were among them and he tells Major he did everything he could for them. Major says he knew in his gut that he was gone but says he saw things they wouldn’t believe and says the cultists didn’t kill them and says the police are liars. He says this is far from over. Ravi comes to the morgue and Liv tells him about the murderous woman on the radio and Ravi calls the show trashy. Then they hear a noise and the radio show fritzes. Then someone shouts to call 911.

They head to a crime scene for the dead radio host. She was electrocuted and Clive is there and says it’s not an accident – someone rigged her microphone to the backup generator. He says they need to find Cheated on in Chattanooga and Liv admits she was listening but says it was her first time. Clive says the license plate of the cheater is registered to the victim. Ravi jokes that it’s shocking – a little electrical humor.

Clive asks if Sasha the host recognized her license plate. The producer says she did and that Sasha sent her to get security. She says the Chattanooga woman was local from Seattle based on her phone number and says she had called in several times. She calls in Kaley, an assistant, and asks her to get the recordings. Liv volunteers to listen through the tapes to find the Chattanooga calls. Jane, the producer, has been buddies with her since college.

Kaley says Sasha talked about her sex life on the air but she says she doesn’t know who since she only used code names. Kaley says they all knew that Sasha liked guys already in relationships. They go to the control room to look at the wiring. The maintenance guy says tours come by and that it’s pretty open. Clive asks if anyone could get in there and he nods. Liv listens to the radio show while she eats brains. Ravi stares and says he ran into Peyton then asks if she’s dating someone. Liv says probably.

Then Liv asks if he’s interested and he offers to draw her a diagram. Liv says she’ll check and Ravi says he thinks they had a moment. Ravi unlocks the door to check on their zombie rat experiment. He calls her in with a serious tone. They see that brains are missing from the rats and they wonder where the fifth one is. Ravi says they have to find him. Liv says he made a zombie rat and says he’s murderous. Liv picks him up while Ravi flinches. Liv says the killer rat doesn’t want zombie brains.

He says that little rat could end human civilization. He explains to her the cocktail that woke up dormant genes that makes a zombie at the cellular level. He says he’ll synthesize from the rat’s brain chemistry to try and make a treatment. Clive shows up and says Sasha was in a rivalry with a sports show host. He shows her a pic of a blow up doll with Sasha’s face taped on it. Clive says the host Chuck asked listeners to commit unspeakable acts to the doll and post them online.

Then he says Sasha was getting him back and was hosting a round table of Chuck’s past lovers on her show. They agree they need to talk to Chuck. They head to the radio station and Liv says they never talk about Clive’s love life but he says that’s a good thing. She calls him a classic distancer. He says it’s nice she wants to get to know him. He asks why she’s babbling like Sasha and asks if it’s from listening to her shows. She says something like that.

Chuck’s show is playing as they walk down the hall. He says women’s mouths weren’t made for speaking. He sees Liv and asks who’s banged an albino then talks about screwing some color into her and says she’s begging for it. Clive flashes the badge and Chuck looks confused. He says the feud with Sasha was just for show. He says she was ratings gold. Liv calls him an extreme narcissist with mommy issues and says he probably cries while he whacks it.

Chuck says he wasn’t worried about his past lovers since they all dug him. He says he doesn’t care and says he’s happily married now and shows a photo of a hottie. Liv gets a flash of that chic telling Sasha to stay away from her husband and throwing a drink in his face. Liv asks if his wife was mad enough to kill her when she found out he was sleeping with Sasha. He’s shocked. He says it was just a couple of times and says it was just a hate bang on the side.

He says Oxana is a mail order bride and couldn’t fake enough English to be the mystery caller. When Sasha died while he was working so he has an alibi. Clive says he’ll check out the wife and Liv says that made her feel dirty. Major’s GF comes in ranting that he missed their lunch date. She asks what happened and he says he was beat up in jail. She asks why he’s looking at pictures of brains then says this is so not what she signed up for.

She says he’s in a battle with the Candyman, gets in fights and has turned into a non-showering whack job. She tells him to get some help and takes off. Ravi says that means game night must be off. Suzuki comes to tell Blaine he’s had enough and says moving the kids’ bodies was the limit. He says Blaine isn’t even trying to be careful anymore. Blaine tells him he’s literally his meal ticket and asks what he can do without him. Blaine says to just do what he tells him to do.

Suzuki mentions Liv and Blaine says he knows about her and says she has a role in all this. He tells Suzuki to run off and protect and serve Blaine. Liv listens to more of the radio show and says this makes her want to fix things whether they want to hear it or not. She gets a vision of Jane and Sasha arguing and Sasha throwing things at her and questioning her loyalty. Jane says she had it coming because she found out she was sending tapes to other stations.

Jane says they started as co-hosts but then Sasha took over the show. She says she wanted her own show but says she didn’t get any offers. She says it takes a special kind of charisma that Sasha had and she didn’t. She says Sasha was mad but then got over it and was fighting for a raise for her to try and get her to stay. She says she has the final tapes for them and hands them over. Ravi shows Liv some oyster shucking gloves he can use to handle the zombie rat.
[2015-05-05, 11:16:03 PM] Rachel Rowan: She asks about Major and Ravi says Coryn dumped him. She says no one dumps Major and he asks if she spoke to Peyton. She says he needs to ask himself why he’s so interested. He says he saw her in action and Liv analyzes him and he doesn’t like it. She says one of his parents was distant and made him work for affection. He asks if she’s shrinking him and she says to learn from the past and not relive it. He says to just talk to Peyton.

Liv goes to see Major since she missed his call. She says to open up. He does and she sees his face then asks who did it. He says he can’t talk about Fight Club. He says shark attack when she asks what happened. He says it was a rough night in jail and the cops didn’t like what he said. She apologizes for not taking the call he made from jail. She sits and looks at him on the police blotter with his mug shot. He says his bosses weren’t impressed with his street cred and he got fired.

She says she’s sorry and Major says he needs to talk to her about something. He says the people in the woods didn’t kill Eddie and Jerome – he says it was DuPont, the Candyman. He says the cops are covering it up then says he saw an ice chest in the car with a brain inside it. A human brain. He says he’s sure of it.
