Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s Dogs To Be Killed Unless They Flee Australia: Minister Threatens Yorkshire Terriers’ Lives!

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s Dogs To Be Killed Unless They Flee Australia: Minister Threatens Yorkshire Terriers' Lives!

Actor Johnny Depp is currently in a showdown with Australian Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce over two Yorkshire Terriers. Joyce has given Johnny Depp a deadline of 50 hours to get his beloved dogs Pistol and Boo out of the country, or they will put down both dogs.

The incident started when Johnny Depp and Amber Heard returned to Australia so that he could finish filming the Hollywood blockbuster ‘Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men tell No Tales.’ Johnny Depp and Amber Heard thought everything was going smoothly when they landed in Australia on their private jet. Unfortunately, they did not alert customs about their two dogs, and now the Agriculture Minister is accusing them of sneaking their dogs into the country.

Mr Joyce said that Depp bypassed strict quarantine laws on Wednesday, and that the dogs would have to leave the country immediately.

He said, “We found out he snuck them in because we saw him taking them to a poodle groomer. Now Mr Depp has to either take his dogs back to California or we’re going to have to euthanize them.” Really? There isn’t an easier way to fix this situation, like having Johnny Depp or Amber Heard fill out the correct paper work? This seems a little extreme to us.

Joyce went onto say, “Just because he’s Johnny Depp does not mean he’s exempt from Australian law. There is a process if you want to bring animals in, you get the permits, they go into quarantine and then you can have them.”

According to Joyce, he does not want to allow Johnny Depp to keep the dogs here because he does not want to start a tradition of celebrities sneaking in their pets. “You start letting in movie stars, even though they have been the sexiest man alive twice, who come into our nation. Why don’t we just break the laws for everybody?”

Mr Joyce has gone onto say that he will not offer the 10 day quarantine period to the dogs. “I’m dead against that idea and this idea that I break the law and then we go in another direction just because I’m a movie star. I don’t like that.”

The latest update has confirmed that Johnny Depp and Amber Heard will have until Saturday, May 17, to get their pets out of Australia, and back to the United States, or they will be killed. Hopefully they get a move on it and save these poor dogs.
