Eliminated Bachelorette contestant Josh Seiter, who moonlights as a male stripper under the name Andrew Dean, just trashed host Chris Harrison on Twitter. During the Season 11 premiere of The Bachelorette on ABC, we sat through two hours of awkward and embarrassing limo entrances – and Josh’s was by far one of the most painful to watch. Josh climbed out of his limo and began stripping and dancing for Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson, he even took the girls’ hands and rubbed them all over his chest. Needless to say, Kaitlyn and Britt were totally creeped out – and Josh was eliminated during the first rose ceremony.
After the premiere, Chris Harrison slammed Josh Seiter in his blog and said, “First and creepiest is Josh S., our ‘dancer. Look, I don’t care about the fact that he’s a “dancer” and it didn’t bother me that he goofed around and made reference to it. But going so far as to grab the women’s hands to run them over his body was a bit much. If he was looking to turn these ladies on, this stripping fireman definitely put out the flames.”
Josh Seiter took to Twitter to defend himself and tweeted that Chris Harrison is actually the one who told him to dance like a creepy stripper. Seiter says that he just wanted to get out of the car and hug the girls – but Chris convinced him that he should make his entrance more memorable and incorporate some of his stripping into it.
Needless to say, Josh is NOT happy and blames Chris Harrison for his elimination, and the fact that Chris actually dissed Josh for stripping after he is the one who told him to – was just icing on the cake. On Twitter, Josh slammed Chris Harrison and lashed out against The Bachelor host. Seiter went on to say that Chris Harrison is “a diva on set and treats production like his personal servants.” Seiter also revealed that The Bachelorette is heavily scripted, and the only part of the premiere that was real was when the guys went into the voting room.
So, do you think Josh Seiter got a bad deal on The Bachelorette? We totally agree with Chris Harrison, he was pretty creepy – but it is messed up of Chris to throw him under the bus after the fact, especially when he is the one who told him to be creepy.
