Kate Middleton, Prince William Marriage Trouble: Queen Elizabeth Summons Fighting Couple to Balmoral

Rumors of Kate Middleton and Prince William’s failing marriage have Queen Elizabeth set to intervene, as Her Majesty has demanded a Balmoral meeting with the Duchess of Cambridge. Kate has been slowly becoming reclusive after giving birth to Princess Charlotte, and signs that her marriage to Prince William is crumbling continue to grow with every event the Duchess snubs.

Kate has been noticeably absent from more than just weddings and social events. The Duchess’ royal duties are equally becoming neglected. Kate had been planning a longer maternity leave after giving birth to her second royal baby, but nearly 4 months has passed. The news that the Middleton family is also planning their annual family vacation to Mustique in November also has fans wondering what the Duchess of Cambridge is taking a break from.

The Daily Mail has confirmed that Queen Elizabeth has Kate coming out her “isolation” to visit her at her Scottish home, Balmoral. Both Kate Middleton and Prince William will attend the meeting the Queen demanded under the muse of celebrating the landmark of Queen Elizabeth becoming the longest reigning monarch. Kate and William will attend a formal dinner hosted by the Queen, but not before attending to some business in private.

Even Prince Charles won’t be attending the meeting or event. Charles is currently in Scotland, but is set to spend the day at Dumfries House; the stately home he helped ‘rescue for the nation.’ That means the Queen, Kate, and William will have plenty of privacy to sort out the royal couple’s crumbling marriage and the Duchess of Cambridge’s un-ignorable seclusion.

This is not the first time Queen Elizabeth had to intervene in Kate Middleton and Prince William’s marriage. The Queen demanded a previous meeting at Balmoral, Scotland in 2014 when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge separated during Kate’s pregnancy with Princess Charlotte. The royals covered up the fact that Kate Middleton had moved back to her parent’s home in Bucklebury; not seeing Prince William for a month, by announcing she was pregnant and had a second round of hyperemesis gravidarum.

Will the Queen’s influence work again? Her Highness has certainly learned to never underestimate a woman who has the heart of her people. According to Ingrid Seward, author of ‘The Queen’s Speech: An Intimate Portrait of the Queen in Her Own Words,’ Elizabeth wanted to help Princess Diana with her struggles, but didn’t know how to hand the emotional “child.” Unable to deal Diana, the Queen become frustrated and created a “disconnect” between the two.

We all know how Queen Elizabeth’s treatment of Princess Diana ended, and perhaps that is why the Queen is troubling herself with the crumbling marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Kate Middleton is well-received by the people, and she happens to have a support system Diana lacked. Basically, Kate has all the appeal and twice the strength and power of Princess Diana. The Duchess was wise enough to surround herself with her family and cement them into the royals’ lives. Kate’s moves, along with orchestrating a quiet revolution ensuring the success of the March of the Middletons, gives her power in the royal family.

What do you think? Does Queen Elizabeth fear Kate Middleton and Prince William will divorce? Will the Queen be able to intervene again? Let us know in the comment section below.
