Kate Middleton has stopped being concerned with winning Queen Elizabeth‘s and Camilla Parker-Bowles’ approval and worrying about what they think about her and especially her parenting methods. We already know that Kate Middleton has expressly ignored Queen Elizabeth’s wishes to make her primary residence at Kensington Palace, and we already know that she’s planning on raising Prince George and her baby girl at Anmer Hall. While her ‘official’ reason is her desire for privacy, sources tell us that Kate Middleton doesn’t want the stagnant rules and traditions of the royals to rub off on her children, especially with the increased media scrutiny. There are spies at Kensington, there’s backstabbing, there’s royal maneuvering, and all sorts of political drama to sidestep – and Kate knows this.
Plus, there are also several members of the royal family that Kate is trying to keep her distance from, such as Camilla Parker-Bowles. Kate is already worried that Camilla has too much influence in royal policy and dictating how the family behaves, even though her only claim to fame is being Prince Charles’ wife. She’s worried that if she stays at Kensington, Camilla will get her claws into Prince George and her unborn baby daughter.
In fact, Camilla Parker-Bowles was reportedly trying to influence Kate to name her baby daughter after her, and that’s before the baby’s even been born! You can imagine how she’ll try to get close to George and Kate’s daughter, even if Kate tries hiding them in the pantry every time Camilla comes by. As Prince Charles’ wife – and with Queen Elizabeth’s health getting worse – Kate better be careful around Camilla, considering the fact that her power is only going to increase from here on out.
Of course, that’s yet another reason to stay at Anmer Hall, even if she has to keep traveling back and forth from Kensington for royal duties. What do you guys think about Kate’s plan to avoid Kensington? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
