Kate Middleton’s commoner mother had been effectively removed by Queen Elizabeth from Kate’s life, but it appears Carole Middleton has regained limited access to the Duchess of Cambridge. However, Queen Elizabeth remains wary of Carole Middleton’s influence over Kate and the royal children. Could Carole find herself permanently banished from the Duchess’ inner circle?
It’s a possibility, especially if she continues to indulge in behavior Queen Elizabeth would find disgusting. Carole already overstepped boundaries with the Queen and was banished from further influencing Kate Middleton, Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte.
Queen Elizabeth didn’t let Carole’s middleclass, commoner ways taking over Anmer Hall and the royals’ lives go unnoticed…or unpunished. Her Highness finally outmaneuvered the March of the Middleton’s, first showing her displeasure by skipping Prince George’s second birthday party. It was clear that the Queen was quietly retaliating and flexing her muscle as Queen.
After Queen Elizabeth essentially pulled another Princess Diana on Kate Middleton; isolating her and forcing her to bend to royal protocol, the Duchess of Cambridge returned to work after an oddly long 4 month maternity leave. Kate has been careful to please Queen Elizabeth, making sure she is smiling and attempting to hide her unhappiness, during each of her public events. Unfortunately, Carole Middleton hasn’t been so concerned about making Queen Elizabeth happy.
Carole Middleton was spotted sneaking booze into the Rugby World Cup. Carole pulled a mini bottle of wine out of a paper bag, trying to discreetly pour the alcohol into a tumbler tucked away in the sack. You can bet Middleton’s coarse display disgusted the Queen. Being that Carole has already won Queen Elizabeth’s disdain, she should probably watch her back, especially when trying to regain full access to Kate, Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte.
Carole was spotted going on a shopping spring for her royal grandchildren. The mother of Kate Middleton carried several bags down Kings Road during her shopping trip. She made purchases from Russell & Bromley and Trotters Childrenswear, which suggests Carole bought Princess Charlotte a new outfit as she was spotted clutching a tiny pink sweater.
It appears that Carole Middleton’s influence has been completely banished. Perhaps Kate Middleton was rewarded with a renewed but limited access to her mother? The royal revolution and Kate’s support has largely been fueled by Carole. In fact, Middleton moved into Anmer Hall for several weeks following the birth of Princess Charlotte. During her time at Kate and William’s Anmer Hall country estate, she made several changes including demanding the staff address her and the royals on a first name basis.
What do you think of Carole Middleton’s return to Kate Middleton’s life? Will her influence eventually be completely banished by Queen Elizabeth? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
