The latest reports say that Kate Middleton along with her new royal baby girl and Prince William will make an appearance on the steps of the Hospital shortly – this brief presentation might include Prince George. Latest reports indicate that Kate has received no visitors and none of the family appear to be heading to hospital to visit. This indicates strongly that Princess Kate Middleton and her newborn baby girl intend to head home to Kensington palace shortly!
The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton gave birth to a baby girl this morning at 08:34 AM GMT. “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a daughter at 8.34am. The baby weighs 8lbs 3oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well,” read the official announcement from Kensington Palace.
Kate Middelton’s new baby girl is fourth in line to the throne after Prince Charles, Prince William, and brother Prince George. The baby girl name is still up in the air. According to SkyBet, “Charlotte tops the odds at 2/1, with Alice a close second at 5/2. Elizabeth, Victoria and Alexandra finish off the top five potential names, with odds of 5/1, 8/1 and 11/1 respectively. Diana is widely expected to be one of the new baby’s names, as a tribute to Prince William’s late mother, and is 12/1 to be her first name.”
Several sources have confirmed that Prince William and Kate Middleton will appear on the steps of the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital – see LIVE STREAM below – within the next couple of hours. Kate’s official hairdresser (great title) went into the hospital earlier today. Last time, when Prince George was born, Kate spent the night at St. Mary’s Hospital.
The royal birth has taken the globe by storm. “For the first time in its 500 year history the Royal Mail will commemorate the royal birth with a special postmark to be stamped on all letters on Tuesday. Millions of letters and parcels delivered on Tuesday will have a postmark reading: ‘Congratulations TRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their daughter’. It is the first time the company has marked a royal birth in this way,” according to a recent update on The Telegraph.
