Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton have recently welcomed the newest addition into the family, a baby girl named Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, and life for this family seems to be pretty close to perfect. PEOPLE’s cover story this week tells all about the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s country life with their two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Funny how they fail to mention how pesky Carole Middleton has moved in wit the family as well despite her husband Michael Middleton telling her to let the new parents be.
The Royal Couple is adjusting to life with Princess Charlotte as they are now coming to the end of their second week with 11-day-old Charlotte. The family is currently living at the 10-bedroom home, Anmer Hall, which is located in the countryside northeast of London on Norfolk Sandringham Estate. The home was a gift to the family from Queen Elizabeth.
A close family friend tells PEOPLE that the the families does not “have any plans other than to have a proper family life.” Thus far, they have been taking everything day by day. What a load that is – do they really expect anyone to believe that the future King and Queen of England are taking life day by day? Prince William is currently working as an air-ambulance pilot, but the hours are ideal for the new situation. The family friend reveals that he is able to work his job, finish his shift, and return home in time “to read the kids story.”
Their beautiful country home is in a quiet location. Marie Theres Viney, co-owner of the near by Church Farm Bed and Breakfast says, “this part of Norfolk is very peaceful. It is the perfect place to raise a family.”
The family friend goes onto say that the location is perfect for Prince William and Kate Middleton because it allows them to have their privacy, away from the world, while still being close to everyone they love. “The location allows them to be mother and father in isolation a bit. It’s a dream scenario for them.”
Now that the wait is finally over, and Princess Kate Middleton no longer has to deal with the drama of being overdue, the family can spend their first months as family of four in their peaceful home. From everything we’ve read, it sounds like Princess Charlotte and 21-month-old Prince George are certainly in a loving environment that will allow them to grow into a great pair of Royal Siblings.
