Katy Perry and her on-again boyfriend John Mayer are now off again, the couple has reportedly broken up for the umpteenth time. Here’s to hoping Katy doesn’t take back Mayer, because frankly we are sick of reporting their break-ups. After a tumultuous relationship and a lengthy hiatus from each other, John Mayer and Katy Perry got back together again in late 2014 – and we really thought this time was the real deal.
Katy and John’s recent reconciliation seemed much more promising than their previous relationships, and it looked like John Mayer was finally ready to settle down and be a semi-decent boyfriend. Katy was reportedly even planning on trying to get pregnant and had baby fever. But, alas it turns out the old adage “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks,” rings true – and Katy has dumped John again.
Earlier this month Katy and John were spotted looking like a happy couple at a Grateful Dead concert, but looks can be deceiving. An insider dished to Naughty Gossip, “He is the worst. He says he is in love and ready for a relationship and then does something stupid. He needs to grow up before he can date anyone. Katy finally got sick of his BS.” It looks like there won’t be a super hot Katy Perry and John Mayer hybrid baby walking around any time soon.
At this point, we’re not even going to get upset over John and Katy’s break-up. First of all we know he can be a total tool, so we don’t even blame Katy. Secondly, it is probably only going to be a matter of time before John cranks up the charm and Katy lets him weasel his way back in to her life. Do you think this break-up is the real deal?
