Keeping Up With The Kardashians returns tonight with an all new Sunday November 15, season 11 premiere episode, called “That Was Then This Is Now” and we have your weekly recap below. On tonight’s episode, in the season 11 premiere, Kris Jenner is still hurting over public comments Caitlyn Jenner made about their marriage, which presents a dilemma for their daughters as they work to be supportive of both parents.
On the last episode, in the Season 10 finale, Kourtney struggled to keep it together as Scott’s behavior spiraled out of control, but she reached a breaking point when he’s photographed in France with another woman. Meanwhile, Khloé scheduled a face-to-face meeting with Caitlyn in an effort to salvage their relationship; and Corey finally made the leap to full-fledged “boyfriend” status. Pictures of Scott have been flooding the internet on tonight’s episode of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”.
Apparently Scott had been taking his breakup with Kourtney much better than she was so the Kardashian clan were worried. They felt Scott could have handled the postmortem with a little more tact. And if anything the kids should have at least been considered.
Their young but they hear things. Especially from their grandma who doesn’t always have the best timing. Kris it seems had asked Kourtney if Scott had already moved all his stuff out and at the time it was like she didn’t notice that little Mason was still in the room. So Kourtney had to tell her mother to lay off.
The breakup was hard for her and she didn’t want to talk about it. Or considered moving on which was another one of her mother’s suggestions.
Though later Kris did get back on track with Kourtney. She went on to tell her that she was proud of her and the way she was dealing with the situation. And also Kris apologized for implying that Kourtney should get back out there.
Ultimately Mama Kardashian had to realize that what worked for her wasn’t going to work for Kourtney and she did in the end. But lately Kris has come out of her own funk. Therefore she’s no longer lying around the house being depressed about Caitlyn’s transition and truthfully her boyfriend Corey played a big part in that.
He’s helped Kris with her new motto which was “That Was Then, This Is Now”. So that made Kris’s children feel like maybe they could try to be there for both her and Caitlyn. Because they wish to continue to be a part of Caitlyn’s life.
So the girls have talked about it and they decided to be there at the ESPY’s when Caitlyn accepts her courage award. But before they show up en masse to support Caitlyn – Khloe finally convinced sister Kourtney to leave the house by spending a day at the vineyard with their mom and Corey. And surprisingly Kourtney had fun with them all.
Usually Kourtney is kind of the grump of the group but with her family she was all smiley and there were even a few giggles when Corey tried to kill a fly by flapping his arms around like a madman. So Kourtney was slowly getting used to her new way of life. And as long as she was kept laughing then everything felt like it was going to turn out fine.
However Khloe was the one that had to step out of her own comfort zone when her older sister Kim managed to talk her into doing the cover of Complex magazine.
Kourtney wasn’t one for sexy photo-shoots and Kim was pregnant. So Kim told Khloe it was her time to carry the sexiness of their brand. And at first Khloe was shy about it. It seems she didn’t think she had the right body to do a sexy shoot but her sister somehow pushed her into doing something new.
And as we know, Khloe looked incredibly sexy on the cover of Complex.
Though it should be said that all of the Kardashian and Jenner sisters looked nice at the ESPY’s. There were apparently some fights right before the award show but Kendall and Kylie managed to put the claws away for their dad. And the two walked the red carpet together without anyone uttering “b*tch” or “c***”.
And after the show, the girl went to have dinner with their Mom. Where Kris said she found Caitlyn’s speech to be truly beautiful. So that in turn made the girls finally feel like they had found the right balance between spending time with both of their parents.
Caitlyn was happy and Kris was happy but by the next morning Caitlyn had refused to talk to either Kendall or Kylie because they chose to have dinner with Kris over going to her after-party. An after-party mind you that the younger girls hadn’t known about but that the older girls did and chose to forego in order to support their mom as well that night. So it was just a pretty unfair situation.
