Keeping Up With The Kardashians continues tonight with an all new Sunday, September 20 season 10 episode 14, called “Mother Armenia” and we have your weekly recap below. On tonight’s Fall Premiere episode, Kim and Khloé Kardashian fulfill their father’s dream of visiting their ancestral home when they travel to Armenia.
On the last episode, Bruce prepared to transition into a woman and received support from his kids upon their return from Montana; at the same time, Kris traveled with Kendall to Paris; and Kim pursued one last hope of getting pregnant. The Kardashian ladies were back tonight on an all-new episode of their long-running reality show. And it seems they’ve finally decided to get in touch with their roots.
Kim and Khloe have packed up their entourages and booked a trip to Armenia. Apparently their father the late Robert Kardashian Sr. had always wanted to take his family back there one day and for a man that was proud of his heritage it must have been hard to have things continually standing in the way of that. However, now that Kim has a family of her own, she’s been pushing the others into following up on that trip idea. And while Rob and Kourtney chose to stay behind, Khloe knew how important the trip was and just couldn’t say no.
And so they went to Armenia. The plan was to take in the sights and pay their respects to the victims of the Armenian Genocide seeing as the anniversary was coming up. Then they were going to follow up their trip with a stopover in Jerusalem where they wanted to baptize little North.
Yet, things turned out to be different when they arrived. The ladies landed expecting to get some notoriety, particularly from the press, but they honestly weren’t prepared to be treated like the Armenian Royal Family. And that’s not an exaggeration. They actually drew in the crowds that Prince William couldn’t even get.
So the Kardashians are huge in Armenia and Khloe even said that if her sister ever loses a bit of her stardom back home then all she has to do is move there and she’ll be set for life.
And though there might be some people in the States who would be happy if all the Kardashians were to move as far as possible – that’s something that is never going to happen. Especially when they still have their Jenner siblings. And not everything is alright with them.
Back home, Kourtney has been struggling to reach out to Kylie. Kylie used to be the youngest and thereby the baby but the 17 year old has already bought her own home and was basically self-sufficient. So that little Kylie that everyone remembered was gone.
And the young adult they were dealing was pulling away from her family. It was to be expected. What with Bruce becoming Caitlyn however Kylie’s siblings don’t understand why she keeps ignoring them. It was one thing to be upset with her father and her mother on that matter. But shutting out her siblings didn’t make sense to them.
Kylie tried to pretend that everything was ok and that she was simply doing her own thing yet that didn’t explain some of her actions. Earlier Kourtney had called her asking why she hadn’t answered a text and when Kylie found out her mother was with her sister – she rudely hung up. Then later when Kourtney and Scott attempted to invite her to dinner with them – she purposely ignored their calls which left Scott in the awkward position of having to check up on her.
You know to see if she was into anything shady.
Thus he tracked her to down to the restaurant she was eating at and he tried to start up a conversation. A conversation she very definitely did not want to have. But when he could see she wasn’t really in the mood to explain herself – he let her go. His job was only to check up on her and at the time all she was doing was having dinner with a friend.
Only, having Scott physically seek her out was the one thing that finally made Kylie want to open up. Maybe it was the idea that Kourtney was going to be persistent enough to have her stalked but she called her sister and eventually came over to talk. And it seems the reason she’s been putting what looks like everyone off is because she’s been spending a lot of time with Caitlyn.
And with her mom being pretty fragile about her father, Kylie didn’t want to bring up all the time she had been spending over at Cate’s house.
Kris has been taking Caitlyn’s transition pretty hard. So the girls have been walking on eggshells around her trying not to say the wrong thing. Yet it’s hard and Kris was so much in a funk – she initially turned down the trip to Armenia.
But what changed her mind was Kim. Kim had called her mother from Armenia and told her she was pregnant with baby number 2. And with Kim being pregnant and about to baptize her eldest, Mama Kris realized she should really be with her family for such an occasion.
So she booked the next flight and was planning on catching up with the girls who were learning a lot about their family history.
And maybe while she’s there she’ll also figure out why Khloe has been talking to Lamar again!
