Lamar Odom was offered $1 Million to return to Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and he turned the reality TV family down! Kris Jenner is scrambling to save her family’s show, ratings are plummeting, and her ex Caitlyn Jenner is stealing their thunder. In a desperate attempt to keep the Kardashian’s reality TV show afloat, Kris Jenner tried to reel back in Lamar Odom so that they could feature his estranged relationship and possible divorce from Khloe Kardashian.
According to the June 22 edition of In Touch Magazine, Lamar Odom did not even think twice about turning down the $1 Million contract – he wants absolutely nothing to do with Khloe Kardashian’s family. An insider dished to In Touch, “His exact words were ‘They ruined my life.’” Contrary to popular belief, Lamar Odom actually doesn’t need the money – and he is just as well off as Khloe Kardashian, if not better off. Apart from an estimated wealth of almost $100 million, the former NBA player still has his pension, and owns several Fatburger restaurants.
Lamar Odom has been battling his demons, alleged cheating and drug abuse, for quite a while – which is supposedly what lead to his and Khloe’s break-up. However, two years have passed and the couple are not officially divorced. It was recently revealed on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians that Khloe and Lamar are still in contact and Kim even caught Khloe flirting with her estranged husband on the phone.
If Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian do reconcile, it looks like we won’t get to see how it all plays out on the family’s reality TV show – because Lamar has no interest in signing back on. Not even for a $1 Million. It looks like Kris Jenner is going to have to find another way to reel in viewers besides trying to capitalize on her daughter Khloe’s divorce and troubled marriage. Do you blame Lamar for turning down the KUWTK offer? Do you think he and Khloe are getting back together, or are they going to finally file the divorce papers?
