Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are getting back together – which is probably the best new the former NBA player has gotten in quite a while. Khloe Kardashian has been by Lamar’s side since his overdose and near death last week – the KUWTK star has refused to leave his bedside in the Vegas hospital where doctors have been trying to nurse him back to health.
Nothing brings a disgruntled couple together like nearly dying and a possible paralysis. Despite all of the divorce drama and men that Khloe has been dating over the past three years, she has decided that she is still in love with Lamar Odom and will stand by him throughout his recovery.
According to the latest reports from TMZ, Lamar Odom’s health is still improving – but he has a long and lengthy recovery ahead of him, filled with therapy, and there is no guarantee he will ever live a normal life again. The website is reporting that Khloe has vowed to stand by her estranged husband throughout his recovery.
Technically, Khloe and Lamar aren’t divorced YET. Khloe stalled filing for divorce for over a year, and according to insiders – Khloe and Lamar have both signed the divorce papers, but they haven’t been signed by a judge yet, and until that happens they are still legally married.
Ironically, all Lamar Odom has wanted for the past 3 years was to get back together with his wife Khloe – it may have taken nearly dying and a grim prognosis, but it looks like he has finally gotten his wish. The obvious question on everyone’s mind right now is, how long will Khloe stick around?
Khloe seems dedicated to Lamar at this point, but sources are reporting that Lamar is going to need months (possibly years) of intense physical and speech therapy. She has vowed to stand by him through his entire recovery, but will she keep her promise after a few months of stressful rehabilitation?
