Kim Zolciak Survives Heart Surgery: Why Was Kim Encouraging Dancing With The Stars Petitions - Couldn’t Dance Anyway?

Former Dancing With The Stars 2015 contestant Kim Zolciak just underwent heart surgery after, her heart condition was discovered after her mini-stroke last month. Kim took to Instagram as soon as she woke up from her surgery on October 27th to let her fans know that the surgery was successful and she is feeling great.

Real Housewife Kim Zolciak tweeted a photo of herself in her hospital gown with this message: “My heart surgery was a success!! I can’t wait to be back on my feet 100%! Glad it’s over! Quite the whirlwind this last month has been…but such a blessing too. #MyFamilyHasBeenAmazing #TheFalconsHaveBeenSoSupportive #GodIsIncredible #Blessed #Grateful #ThankYouToMyDoctorsAndNurses #AmazingTeam”

Kim Zolciak actually stirred up quite a bit of drama on Dancing With The Stars after she suffered from a mini-stroke and was eliminated from the competition. The rule book clearly states that come hell or high water – if you don’t perform on the live weekly show, then you are out of the competition.

Kim and her partner Tony missed the next week after her mini-stroke, and the Real Housewife was livid that she was eliminated, she ever encouraged her social media followers to sign petitions urging ABC to let her return to the competition because her exit was unfair.

About four weeks have passed since Kim’s mini-stroke, and she just went through heart surgery. Obviously we are thrilled for her, and happy that everything is working out. But, we can’t help but wonder – what if ABC had caved and let her return to the competition?

Was she going to get more free passes for her heart surgery? Why was Kim Zolciak fighting so hard to get back in to Dancing With The Stars, if she was going to have to have heart surgery in three weeks anyway. Let us know what you think in the comments below!
