Kristen Stewart says filming sex scenes with Robert Pattinson for Twilight was “agony.” Kristen Stewart recently opened up in an interview with Harper Bazaar on all things her career – and even briefly mentioned her ex-boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, but she wasn’t exactly gushing about her former beau. If anything she totally dissed him – not that we’re surprised considering he just got engaged to his new girlfriend FKA Twigs.
In Kristen Stewart interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK, she discussed her awkward sex scenes with Robert Pattinson, which is totally strange seeing as how the two actors were actually in a relationship then – so you would think that filming a sex scene with each other would be a breeze. Stewart explained, “On Twilight we had to do the most epic sex scene of all time. It had to be transcendent and otherworldly, inhuman, better sex than you can possibly ever imagine, and we were like, ‘How do we live up to that?’ It was agony. Which sucks, because I wanted it to be so good.” Sure, K-Stew didn’t come right out and blatantly say that she hated filming sex scenes with her then boyfriend Rob, but she definitely didn’t rave about them either.
Ironically, Kristen’s comments on her sex scenes with Robert Pattinson came about not long after Pattinson got engaged to his new girlfriend FKA Twigs. If Robert hadn’t moved on and began planning a wedding, would Kristen have still called filming sex scenes with him “agony?” It sounds like a pretty back-handed way of saying that she could care less he is getting married, because their sex life wasn’t all that anyways.
