There is a possibility that Kylie Jenner may be charged with animal abuse. Los Angeles County Animal Control is investigating several complaints, a spokesperson for the agency revealed to TMZ.
The representative did not detail exactly how many complaints were made, but the complaints to Los Angeles Animal Control started after Kylie posted a video of Bambi, an Italian greyhound, on Snapchat.
The dog appears to be abnormally skinny, even for a greyhound. In the video, Bambi’s spine and ribcage are clearly defined. Kylie has also posted images of her ultra-skinny dogs on Instagram.
The pic below was posted two weeks ago and came with the caption “coming home to you guys.”
TMZ consulted experts regarding the dog’s weight. These experts reportedly said there was nothing out of the ordinary about Bambi. This breed of greyhounds is a naturally very thin dog.
If Kylie Jenner were to be found guilty of animal abuse or neglect the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star’s beloved pet could be taken away the state. California has the strictest laws in the United States when it comes to punishment for abuse, cruelty, or neglect of animals.
In California, depending on the severity of animal abuse, the crime could be classified as a misdemeanor or possibly a felony. Los Angeles Animal Control must investigate every complaint of animal abuse.
Kylie may not be the most responsible young woman, but it is highly unlikely that the fashion model would starve her dog and then post photos on social media. What’s going on with Kylie’s doggy?
