We don’t know how she pulled it off, but actress Lindsay Lohan has completed her 100+ hours of community service and is finally off probation. Just a few weeks back, we reported that a judge condemned Lindsay Lohan in a Los Angeles court room for only completing nine hours of her required 125 comment service hours and gave her until the end of the month to do so. That meant Lindsay would have to do around 8 hours of service a day for more than 2 weeks in a row.
We were very doubtful that this would happen, but somehow, Lohan has been able to complete her community service. Perhaps it was the motivation that this time, if she did not own up to her responsibilities, Lohan would be sent to jail for who knows how long. Whatever her inspiration was, Lohan took to Instagram to celebrate and said, “Hard work pays off. Thank you to all those that allowed me to volunteer while in NYC. God bless you all. Amen.”
Terry White, Santa Monica’s chief deputy attorney said that Lindsay not only completed her 125 hours of service, but did more than necessary. He said, “ I have no other concerns and believe this completes her probationary requirements.”
Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Holley, went to court today, Thursday, May 28, to deliver the good news to the judge. Lindsay Lohan has been dealing with probation issues since 2007, when she had a run in with the local law enforcement officers regarding drug possession. She has been on probation since then, but her most recent run in with the cops came from a 2012 reckless driving case, which sparked the 125 hours of community service.
Now that the actress is free for the first time in 8 years, perhaps she will get back to, you know, acting.
What do you think? What’s next for Lindsay Lohan? Will she get back into acting, or are we just waiting for her next run in with the cops? Let us know in the comments below.
