‘Ghost Adventures’ Mark and Debby Constantino Found Dead in Murder-Suicide: Domestic Violence Tragedy

Mark Constantino and Debby Constantino – the husband and wife paranormal investigators of the Travel Channel’s “Ghost Adventures” were found dead in their daughter’s apartment in Sparks, Nevada. The estranged couple’s deaths appear to be a murder-suicide – a result of a domestic violence incident.
Reno police – according to KTVN – responded to a call at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning from a woman who stated that she had found her male roommate dead of a gunshot wound. Lt. William Rulla said that upon arriving at the scene in Reno they discovered that a second female roommate – not publicly identified at the time – was missing.

Police began searching and tracked the couple’s cellphones to her daughter’s home where Debby was being held hostage by Mark. Shots were heard being fired inside and when local police efforts to negotiate with Mark Constantino for his wife’s release failed the S.W.A.T. team was called in. At the time of the negotiations Mark was also a suspect in the murder of the unidentified man found at Debby Constantino’s apartment. Upon breaking down the apartment door police discovered that Mark had already murdered Debby and then taken his own life. Police have not yet released any information about regarding the whereabouts of the Costantino’s daughter or the extent of her involvement in the incident that ended in the deaths of both her parents.

The “Ghost Adventures” co-hosts – who were experts in electronic voice phenomena – or EVP – had a history of domestic violence. In August Mark was charged with kidnapping, domestic battery by strangulation and domestic battery against Debby. Their daughter was charged as an accomplice and Debby Contantino was granted a restraining order against her estranged husband.

Shocked fans of “Ghost Adventures” have converged on the couple’s Facebook page to offer their condolences. Many posted that they cannot wrap their heads around what has happened. One fan posted a couple of Debby’s last statements made on the page – September 21. One such post read, “When You Live With Evil Spirits/Attachments…It Is Like Every Breath You Take, A Toxic One. Every Negative Emotion IS Magnified. Every Good Memory Is Erased. It is Like Having A Venomous Snake Hiding Some Where…You Just Don’t Know Where.”
