Tonight on Bravo, Married to Medicine returns with an all new Sunday, September 6 season 3 episode 13 called, “Bahama Mamas” We’ve got you recap down below! On tonight’s episode, with the upcoming trip to the Bahamas on the horizon, the ladies have a number of things to settle at home before departing for an island in the sun.
On the last episode, after months of hard work, Dr. Heavenly was finally ready to launch her dating app, Piq. During her release party, everyone in town stopped by, including Atlanta socialite Claudia Jordan. However, Dr. Heavenly’s husband didn’t love the fact that her new venture will keep his wife busier than ever. Meanwhile, Jill throws a wild Prohibition Party but things get out of control when her husband was accused of disrespecting Dr. Heavenly, and Mariah decided to show up fashionably late to reclaim her seat at the throne. With all the drama surrounding the group, Dr. Simone decided a couples’ trip to the Bahamas were the best way to put the fractured crew back together. On tonight’s episode per the Bravo synopsis “with the upcoming trip to the Bahamas on the horizon, the ladies have a number of things to settle at home before departing for an island in the sun. The trip starts out on a festive note as the couples are met at the hotel by a band but by dinner, Mariah just can’t let go of the past, and Jill and Dr. Heavenly go head to head for round two of their disagreement.”

“Married to Medicine” was new tonight and it looks like the trip that everyone had been so happy to attend eventually brought out the very worst in all of them.
Prior to this trip, Mariah had returned to the fold. Mariah you have to understand used to be at the center of this circle of women. Yet in recent times she tended to be the only one they could all agree on not wanting around.
So the return of Mariah is near biblical in proportions. She truly went from being the most hated to the prodigal sister overnight. I mean it was a big jump and even Mariah was actually shocked at such a warm welcome back. Although, now that’s she back, Simone felt she should be included in the Bahamas Couples Trip.
And, frankly, that was a step too far.
Simone was technically the one that voted her out but she later claimed to have missed Mariah this entire time. So there wasn’t that much of an issue when she included Mariah on her trip. And the rest of the ladies just chose to go along with the decision. But Toya wasn’t all that sure about making a real effort in regards to Mariah.
It just sort of felt fake to forget everything. And that’s why on their first night in Bahamas, Toya wasn’t bending over like say Heavenly was in apologizing to Mariah over past grievances.
Toya and Mariah had issues. Deep-rooted issues that simply couldn’t be dismissed for the sake of a trip. So neither woman was prepared to fake it with each other nor was anyone willing to play nice despite the change of location.
And so they got into the first rift of the night.
Mariah came on the trip with her husband and for some reason the two wanted to use it to guilt others into feeling sorry for them. Aydan felt like he didn’t have the support of his boys that normally would have say a year ago. And Mariah kept reminding everyone that no one had reached out after her miscarriage.
Though, when you think about it, how could they? When Mariah had that miscarriage, she wasn’t speaking to any of the girls at the time. So wouldn’t it have been odd if they just came over one day after months of silence to pretending to be invested.
Heavenly being who she is felt like the only thing that was left to do was to apologize to Mariah. Yet no matter how many times she did, Mariah still wasn’t satisfied. And so Toya told her that she wasn’t sorry. Toya had texted Mariah a month afterwards and if Mariah felt like that hadn’t been enough then oh well.
It’s not like the two that were close to begin. But this issue with Mariah just wouldn’t go away. She went on to burst in tears at dinner when someone had made a toast calling everyone their family. Apparently, Mariah found the idea of them being a family to be laughable because no one was there for her when she needed them.
And after Mariah had retired for the night, dinner continued to go downhill thanks to Toya’s intervention.
Toya first told everyone that she learns more and more about marriage thanks to them all. However she then capped off that comment by telling Darren she felt he should a little more open with his wife. Because while Lisa was willing to overlook the strip club problem, Toya felt he should know that it was still very much a problem with the rest of them.
And Darren addressed the problem as only a man can. Meaning he said a bunch of crap he didn’t mean and hoped no one noticed. But Jill seeing the opportunity, wanted to see if she could finally get that apology from Lisa that she had been waiting on.
So, when that didn’t happen, the night ended with both ladies flinging insults and everyone else getting desperate to make them stop.
