Is Miranda Lambert quitting singing country music to save her troubled marriage to Blake Shelton? Miranda and Blake have been rumored to be on the verge of a divorce for over a year now. The couple fight non-stop over Blake’s drinking and Miranda’s grueling schedule, not to mention the cheating scandals that keep popping up. It’s no secret that Miranda desperately wants to save her marriage and have a baby with husband Blake Shelton – and her pal Carrie Underwood thinks that she should quit singing in order to do so.
Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert are close pals, and Carrie recently took some time off from her career to raise her baby with her husband, Mike Comrie. According to a new report from Star Magazine, Carrie told Miranda that she should quit singing and do the same. An insider dished to Star Magazine, “Carrie said taking a year off to have a baby was the best thing to happen to her relationship with Mike. She has been telling Miranda that she should put her own career on pause to keep the fires burning at home.”
Miranda Lambert’s fans needn’t worry though – the country music singer has no intention of following Carrie’s advice and taking time off from work. Of course, Carrie comes from a good place. The last thing she wants to see is her pals Miranda and Blake get a divorce. But, according to Star’s sources, when Carrie tells Miranda to take some time off, she just “rolls her eyes.” Sadly, Carrie Underwood could be on to something – if Miranda and Blake ever hope to repair their marriage, one of them is going to have to make a sacrifice at some point and take some time off from work so that they can be in the same place at the same time. You can’t fix your marriage while you are on opposite coasts!
