Tonight on VH1 their docu-soap series Mob Wives continues with an all new Wednesday March 4, season 5 finale called “The Final-Face Off,” and we have your weekly recap below. On tonight’s episode Drita D’Avanzo makes a discovery about Natalie’s deceit and struggles to keep calm.
On the last episode, Renee reconnected with a friend from her past. Meanwhile, Natalie and London headed to couples therapy, and Nat D fumed when one of the ladies were a no-show at her charity event. Did you watch the last episode? After her spiritual cleanse last week, Renee felt like she deserved a party for all her troubles on tonight’s new episode of “Mob Wives”. So that’s what she did. She threw herself one and, here’s the thing, she’s honestly invited everyone to come this time instead of simply issuing an invitation to the few people she was currently talking to. And so we all know what that means – just anyone could show up!
The open invitation was quite admirable of Renee. It showed that she was following up on the whole living her life without drama. However the party was probably not the best place to finally introduce the two Natalies to each other. Because, while what Renee was doing with her party sounded like a nice idea in theory; unfortunately the situation is like what Big Ang told her “asking for trouble”.
You see the two Natalies were going to be attending the same party and as far as everyone was aware that’s never been done before. Which is odd because funnily enough the two women hate each other yet they’ve never actually met. They’ve just hated each other from afar.
So having them meet at a spiritual cleanse party wasn’t the best idea ever. Particularly, as the two women then began to look towards at Renee’s party as a way to clear the air between themselves. But what Natalie Guercio didn’t know, prior to the party that is, is that she was one friend short. Drita it seems had gotten a wakeup call about her “friend” Natalie last week and, because she’s been shunning everyone since; no one knew how angry she was with Natalie until the day of the party.
Hence, there was a lot of things bubbling right under the surface and Renee, the party girl, was left completely unaware of. On her part, she merely thought everything was going to be ok. And, to be fair, it really should have been a day of celebration.
Not only was Renee recently baptized, but her son had also given his girlfriend of two years a promise ring. So the party was lucky enough to begin on a good note. And then the Drita showed up!
Drita was quick to tell her friends about everything that had happen during her sit-down with Nat D. and hold anything back. She told them about the recording and she was even prepared to let Renee and Karen gloat if they wanted. Thankfully, they didn’t (to her face).
But after Drita had finished her story and later Nat. D showed up with her recording still on her phone, Big Ang was still hoping she wasn’t that wrong about Natalie. After she had been defending the girlis every which way from Sunday. And sometimes to friends she’s known for over twenty years. So when Natalie eventually showed up and had the audacity to bring an entourage (that was glaring at Nat D the whole time) to someone else’s party – Ang knew she had to cut her losses.
Renee had Natalie’s entourage thrown out and Natalie soon followed right behind them.
Apparently, she had invited her friends and family in case she ran into any trouble but by inviting people Renee has never met to her own party – she blew things with Ms. Kumbaya as well. Hence there was no one that tried to calm Nat D. down. Nat wanted a fight and as long as she took it outside then other girls weren’t going to protest.
The fight, though, never happened. You see Natalie quickly drove away after her entourage had gotten kicked out. So even as Nat D. was screaming at her to get out of the car and come fight her – the other Natalie wisely knew how to flee a scene.
But in one night Natalie showed everyone a side they’ve never seen of her and for those that were still trying to be her friend – no could even work up the energy to defend her little stunt.
