But it looks like Nina has already moved on and is now dating Austin Stowell. When Nina Dobrev posted a photo online of herself hanging out with DJ Zedd, the rumor mill went into overdrive. Nina clearly had feelings for Zedd, but she chose not to pursue him because of her friendship with Selena Gomez. Nina obviously isn’t too tore up about having to cut Zedd loose though – because she has already moved on to Austin Stowell.
Seriously, Nina Dobrev changes boyfriends more than most of the people reading this change their underwear. On Sunday, May 24 Nina Dobrev attended the Indianapolis 500 with some pals, including Austin Stowell – she even shared some selfies on social media. Twitter was in an uproar when fans at the Indie 500 reported that they had spotted Nina and Austin kissing!
Ironically, Austin Stowell is also a close friend of Selena Gomez’s and rumor has it that Nina met Austin through Selena too. Austin and Selena worked on not one but two movies together. So, in the past month, Nina has been linked to two different men in SelGo’s life – which is getting a little strange. Either Nina is stealing guys off Selena’s roster, or Selena is just trying to help Dobrev find a boyfriend.
Nina Dobrev has had a rough couple of months. First, she quit The Vampire Diaries after six seasons and learned the hard way that there are way more actresses floating around Hollywood than there are movie roles. Then she had to endure the media firestorm that occurred when her ex Ian Somerhalder married her former friend Nikki Reed. Maybe Austin Stowell is just the pick-me-up that Nina Dobrev needs.
