You’d think that OJ Simpson would learn his lesson about playing the celebrity card after spending years in prison, but you’d have thought wrong. According to a new report from the National Enquirer, OJ tried going ‘Hollywood’ on the inmates and ended up getting pummeled for his efforts.
Apparently, it all started when OJ Simpson tried jumping to the head of a long line of prisoners waiting for medication. The Enquirer’s source elaborates, “O.J. still thinks of himself as a celebrity who doesn’t have to follow any rules. That pissed off this bad dude, who told O.J. to ‘wait like everybody else.’ O.J. challenged the skinhead and spit in his direction.”
However, this skinhead, Travis ‘Blu’ Waugh, couldn’t handle OJ challenging him so he slammed OJ against a wall and reportedly retorted, “O.J., you’re a dead man!” Even though prison guards quickly broke up the fight, we’ve seen enough movies to know that prisoners will find a way to get into fights if they want – and this Travis ‘Blu’ Waugh definitely seems like he means business. Plus, we’d already heard that OJ Simpson wasn’t very popular in prison, so I doubt he has anybody to come to his defense or protect him if these skinheads decide to end his life early.
What do you guys think about OJ Simpson playing the celebrity card and getting beaten up as a result? Do you think the report is accurate, and OJ would be stupid enough to make these skinheads angry – especially since he knows he’s stuck in prison and the chances of a parole are very, very low? Or would he keep his head done and go about his business, hoping to avoid any confrontation and thus, make his release easier? Plus, he might be stuck in prison indefinitely, and we wonder if he’s really stupid enough to make life more difficult for himself…
