Caleb reassures her that he is going to talk to Toby and see what the police have on her. There is a knock at the door, it’s Hanna’s mom – she says Hanna needs to come home ASAP.
Emily fills Ezra in on Varjack – but he says that in all of his research for the book he never heard of anyone named Varjack. He remembers that passport that was in Alison’s name called “Holly Varjack,” but “A” planted that passport in her attic. Ezra tells Emily she should talk to Mona’s lawyer Nealon and see if Mona ever told him who she thought “A” was.
Ezra meets with Mona’s lawyer Nealon, and asks him if Mona really hired him to deliver a package in the event of her death, or if someone else hired him to do it and say it was form Mona. Nealon is floored and tries to kick Ezra out of his office. Ezra warns him that if he doesn’t give him a name, then he will call the police and have to give them a name. Emily and Aria are waiting outside the lawyer’s office with for Ezra. He comes out and tells them that Nealon wouldn’t give him any information. Veronica warns her that if she names Hanna as her accomplice and Hanna is innocent, she will have to live with that for the rest of her life. At the cabin in the woods Emily is snooping around, she finds a pizza box on the porch with the name “Varjak” on it.
Caleb rushes in to Hanna’s house and is panicking – he says that he talked to Toby and the Rosewood Police just issued a warrant for her arrest, Alison took the plea deal. Hanna freaks out and says she has to leave town. Caleb says it is not an option, she needs to come clean and tell Tanner all about “A.” That is the only way that she can save herself – Hanna whines that if she tells Tanner about “A,” all of their secrets will come unraveled.
Caleb drives Hanna to the police station and gives her a pep talk – he reassures her that Tanner will believe everything she has to say because she has messages from “A” on her phone. Hanna marches inside and tells the officer at the front desk that she is being framed and she needs to speak to Tanner. While they are standing there waiting for Tanner Hanna’s phone starts beeping, someone hacked in to her phone and deleted all of the messages from “A,” now she has no proof that she is being framed.
Nealon leaves the cabin, and Emily runs out of the security fence behind him. They all get a phone call revealing that Hanna was arrested and they rush to the police station.
