The Royal baby battle has begun! Prince William and Kate Middleton’s baby girl Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana is not even a month old – and the royal family is already battling with Kate’s commoner mother Carole Middleton over the newest addition to the family. It’s no secret that Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles have had a serious issue with the amount of time Carole Middleton spends with Prince George, and as predicted Kate’s mother is already over-stepping her boundaries with the new Princess.
The May 25 edition of Star Magazine reveals that after Princess Charlotte returning home from St. Mary’s hospital, Queen Elizabeth rushed over to Kensington Palace to meet her new granddaughter. The Queen was not a happy camper when she arrived and Carole and Pippa Middleton were already there visiting the baby – and Carole was holding Princess Charlotte. According to Star’s insiders, the Queen was furious that Carole got to see the new Princess before she did, and she ordered a member of the staff to get Carole Middleton “out of her sight” before she swooped in and took the baby out of her arms.
Queen Elizabeth and Carole Middleton’s feud goes much farther than just in-laws bickering over who sees the children more. It’s completely normal for any family to have a power struggle over a new baby, both the Middletons and the royals are both eager to get to know Princess Charlotte. But, the Queen’s issues with Carole Middleton run much deeper than that. At the end of the day, they are the royal family of England – and Queen Elizabeth hates that Carole Middleton is trying to raise Kate Middleton’s children George and Charlotte like typical commoner children. Queen Elizabeth thinks that they should be raised like members of the royal family from birth so that they will know their roles in life as they get older.
This is clearly just the beginning of the royal baby battle which pits Kate Middleton’s commoner family against the royals – and as Prince George and Princess Charlotte get older – it is only going to get worse.
