There are TWO new Real Housewives shows headed to Bravo, Dallas and Potomoc. The network, which is already home of Real Housewives franchises starring women from New Jersey, New York, Orange County, Beverly Hills, and Atlanta – just added two new cities to its line-up, according to an exclusive report from US Weekly.
US Weekly is reporting that Bravo is now filming two new reality TV shows in Dallas, Texas and Potomac, Maryland (near Washington DC). Obviously it was only a matter of time before Dallas began commandeering its own Real Housewives show – it’s a huge city, with a ton of drama, and some pretty wealthy middle aged women.
It’s the second city that has everyone scratching their heads a bit. Half of the Real Housewives fans had never even heard of Potomac until today.
Andy Cohen excitedly dished on the two new shows, “The Real Housewives of Potomac is the show you never saw coming, and it’s going to take everyone by surprise! As for The Real Housewives of Dallas, it’s a natural extension of the franchise with a Southern twist that y’all will enjoy.”
According to the official press release from Bravo, “The Real Housewives of Potomac will star Gizelle Bryant, Katie Rost, Karen Huger, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, Robyn Dixon, and Ashley Darby, all of whom have fought for their places in this society by way of legacy or marriage.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac is set to premiere in just a few short months on January 17th 2016, the cast list and premiere date for Real Housewives of Dallas has not yet been released – it will be later in 2016.
So Housewives fans, are you as excited as we are for the two new housewives shows? Bravo tried a Real Housewives of Washington DC a few years ago and it was a total flop, will the Real Housewives of Potomac be just as disasterous?
