Selena Gomez has been the victim of some serious fat-shaming lately, and that coupled with Justin Bieber hooking up with Ariana Grande has the “I Want You To Know” singer locking herself in her house and refusing to come out. Over the last few months Selena Gomez has gained a little bit of weight, and become curvier. In all actuality Selena probably looks better now than she used to – but cruel bullies on the internet have been ranting about how “fat” Selena is getting and making fun of her on social media.
Selena Gomez has always had some serious insecurities, courtesy of Justin Bieber, and the fat-shaming couldn’t have come at a worse time. Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were on the road to a reconciliation, until Ariana Grande came along and Justin left Selena hanging high and dry to chase after the tiny diva. So, on top of internet bullies calling her fat every day, the love of Selena’s life just ditched her for a girl that is literally half the six of her.
Selena Gomez is not taking the fat-shaming and being dumped by Biebs for tiny Ariana well at all. According to Naughty Gossip’s inside sources, “Selena is not in the right state of mind to be out in public all the time right now. She hates fate-shaming and when she is at the receiving end of it, it’s even worse. Right now, Selena is basically scared to leave her home.”
Believe it or not, this actually isn’t the first time that Selena Gomez has barricaded herself in her house and refused to come out. In an interview with V Magazine the singer admitted that in 2014 the media and internet bullies overwhelmed her so much and set off her anxiety to the point that she didn’t want to go outside.
