Tonight’s episode of Suits kicks off with Harvey leaving Donna’s house after telling her that he loved her, he reminisces about the first time he met Donna in a bar and she introduced herself to him. Harvey was shocked that Donna knows everything about him – and that he just won his first trial. She tells Harvey to buy her a drink and join her.
Harvey arrives at the office late at night – he finds Cahill sitting in the lobby waiting for him. He tells Harvey that he can’t find the money, Harvey snaps that they handed him Woodall on a silver platter. Cahill explains that if he doesn’t find the money in five days the SCC is going to shut him down and he needs his help. Harvey heads to Mike’s house and tells him and Rachel that Cahill lost the money. He tells them that somewhere there is someone that Woodall cares about very much – and that is where the money is. Harvey tells Rachel and Mike to “figure out a way to get this done” and storms out.
The next morning Donna arrives at the office – she finds a note from Louis on her desk saying that he needs her. She visits Louis in his office and he says that his secretary Norma died that morning. Louis rants that she “left him high and dry just like she always did.” Apparently she left her estate and will for Louis to take care of and requested that he got her cremated and kept her urn in his office with him.
Flashback: at the bar where Harvey is meeting Donna for the first time, a mysterious man buys him a drink. Forseman says that he wants to hire Harvey to work for him, Harvey snaps that he doesn’t need a job and he will be making “half a million a year in no time.”
At the office Rachel is determined to find out where Forseman stashed Woodall’s money. Mike and Rachel realize that the reason that Harvey is so weird about Forseman is because he must have played Harvey in the past or used someone that Harvey cared about.
Flashback: Harvey meets with his little brother Marcus – he tells Harvey that he wants to open a restaurant and he needs $150,000. Harvey tells him that he doesn’t have that kind of cash and the restaurant idea is not going to work. Marcus snaps that he will just get the money from their mother – and Harvey tells him “don’t you dare.” Harvey visits Jessica and tries to get the cash but she tells him he can’t come back. He threatens her and says that he got a job offer from Forseman and if she can’t hire him, then he will take Forseman’s offer so that he can loan his brother the money. Jessica warns him that his brother Marcus has a problem and if he needs money it is because he is in to something too deep – and if Harvey takes the offer form Forseman he will regret it.
Harvey corners Woodall in the supermarket, and tells him that he is going to find the money that Cahill can’t find. He tells Woodall that he can get him a deal if he rolls over on Forseman, Harvey gives him his card and tells him to call him and he will represent him because Cahill is closing in on him. Meanwhile in the office Mike and Rachel have created a diagram of all of the possible people that could have hidden the money for Woodall. Rachel convinces Mike to talk to Harvey – she thinks that they should go after Forseman for what he did to Harvey and Marcus 12 years ago.
Donna stops by Harvey’s office and tells him that she has been helping Louis all day because Norma died. Donna snaps that they need to talk about what happened last night – she hasn’t forgotten that he told her he loved her. Harvey says that he only told her that to make her feel better and Donna growls that she doesn’t need his pity and storms out.
Flashback: Harvey visits Forseman at his house, he explains that he wants to talk about the job offer. His brother Marcus needs $150,000 to open a restaurant – and it is Marcus’s second chance at getting his life together because he had a gambling problem, and Harvey is the reason for it.
Louis heads to the funeral home and calls Donna for back-up. He shouts that the funeral home is trying to rob him and he starts yelling that Donna never cared about him, all she cares about is her sister and Murder She Wrote. Donna tries to reason with him that she isn’t Norma, and comforts him and tells him everything will be okay – Louis breaks down and cries that “Norma left him for good.”
Mike and Rachel visit Harvey in his office and tell him that they still haven’t found the hidden money. Rachel tells Harvey it is time for him to come after Forseman for what he did 12 years ago. Harvey shouts that he can’t go after Forseman for that, because his brother Marcus will get dragged in to it as well. He tells Rachel and Mike that he gave them a job to do and they need to go do it.
Cahill corners Harvey and demands to know why Harvey visited Woodall in the supermarket. He complained that Cahill sent Harvey to intimidate him and now he is filing harassment charges against him. Harvey explains that he was just trying to get some information – Cahill snaps that he needs to go “get him something he can use” or else Woodall will keep his job and go after Louis.
Harvey stops by Jessica’s office and says that they still have nothing on Forseman, but he thinks that he can help Cahill nab Forseman for what happened with Marcus 12 years ago. Harvey tells Jessica that he needs her to “help him get his mind right” and figure out what to do. Jessica says she can’t help him get his mind right, because her mind is not right and she just finished scraping Jeff’s name off his office door.
Donna visits Louis in his office, and he has Norma’s urn and ashes with him just like she asked. Donna tells Louis that he needs to start looking for a new secretary – he wants Donna to leave Harvey and work for him. Donna tells him that isn’t an option and she can’t leave Harvey, but she offers to set up a memorial for Norma as her last official act as his substitute secretary.
Rachel and Mike think they may know where Woodall has hidden his money – they visit a nursing home and ask for Maryann McGraff – it’s Woodall’s first wife, they were only married for six months. The nurse on staff says that she has been living there for a year and a half, and she has advanced Alzheimer’s disease and they won’t be able to get any information out of her. They head back to the office and Rachel fills Harvey in, Woodall used the money from Forseman to pay for her care in cash – for several years in advance.
Flashback: Harvey storms in to Forseman’s house and shouts that he is a “son of a bitch.” He made an inside trade based on information that Harvey mentioned to him about Dupont, and he made millions of dollars off from it. Harvey says that he isn’t working for Forseman and he is going to prosecute him for inside trading. Forseman tells him that Marcus just spent $150,000 of the money he made on the inside trade so if Harvey prosecutes him, he will have to turn in himself and his brother Marcus too.
Harvey tracks down Woodall and tells him that he knows about Maryann and the jig is up. Harvey tells Woodall that the reason he knew to look for Maryann is because he knows how Forseman works – he goes after the people that we care about, just like he did to his brother Marcus. Woodall snaps that Harvey doesn’t have proof, and Harvey warns him that he is going to find it and if Woodall doesn’t turn over on Forseman, then he will take him down with him.
It’s time for Norma’s memorial, Louis gives a speech about how much he hated Norma’s clogs, and her mustache, and her annoying story about Abe Vigoda. He cries that he isn’t going to let another minute pass by without letting Norma know how much she meant to him and how much he loved her. Jessica thanks Louis for the lovely ceremony, and everyone files out of his office. Donna stays behind and tells Louis how beautiful his speech was. Louis thanks Donna for everything she has done for him, and tells her that Harvey has “no idea how lucky he is to have her” and then he kisses her on the cheek.
Forseman visits Harvey in his office and tells him that he knows Harvey has been trying to get Woodall to turn him in. He taunts Harvey that it “isn’t his fault he can’t beat him.” Forseman threatens Harvey and tells him that if he brings him down – he will bury him for the inside stock sharing 12 years ago, along with his little brother. Cahill enters the office, and Harvey reveals that he has been wearing a wire and he got Forseman’s entire conversation on tape. It’s the end of the line for Forseman, Cahill and his men take him away.
Mike heads home from the office and Rachel is waiting for him, she has a romantic dinner and candles set up for him – she says they need to celebrate their win and finding the money. Mike tells Rachel that she “is the most amazing woman he has ever met.” He tells her that he called her father and got permission and get Grammy’s ring cleaned – he gets down on one knee and proposes to Rachel and asks her to marry him. He professes his love to her, and she says “yes.”
Harvey sits in his dark office and calls his brother Marcus – he says he just wanted to check in and he misses him. Marcus reassures him that everything is great and the kids are great and tells him that he loves him. They hang up and Donna comes in to Harvey’s office. He reassures her that he doesn’t pity her – and he thinks she is “one of the most amazing women he has ever met.” Donna tells him that she is leaving him, and she can’t work with him any more…she is going to work for Louis. Harvey begs her not to, she says “I love you Harvey” and walks out of his office.
