Tonight on ABC Dancing With The Stars returns for a second week and Tamar Braxton and her professional dancing partner Val Chmerkovskiy danced a Charleston routine. On tonight’s episode the 13 couples dance to a song that commemorates the professional’s hometown. Did you watch tonight’s episode? The pressure is on this week with the couples having to learn not one but two dances in the two night event. At the end of each night, the couple with the lowest combined judges and viewer votes from last week will be eliminated.
On last week’s premiere episode of DWTS Tamar performed a Quickstep and the judges scored Tamar a 23/30 for her performance. Julianne Hough loved her performance and had this to say, “The thing that I love so much is that you are feisty and fierce, but there was a feminity that was smooth and graceful. For a first dance and your first week as a quickstep, that was really really great.”
Judges’ comments on Tamar’s Week 2 Charleston: Carrie Ann: “You killed it, you are a dynamic couple, you nailed it.” Julianne: “Did you practice last night, it was seamless and so on point. You went from sultry to cute coffee girl.” Bruno: “It was so uplifting, it was fantastic, I loved it.”
