Part One of tonight’s episode was Noah. Poor Noah struggled in his relationship with Allison and according to him the first sign of trouble was the nearby pool. Noah and Allison had been staying in a friend of friend’s guesthouse and they had been given access to the pool. Yet Noah noticed one day that Allison never wanted to go swimming and so he had almost pushed her into joining him. And apparently that was a step that Allison didn’t want to take.
So after he took a swim, he asked Alison if she knew that she could trust him and she said did. But then again she didn’t want to explain her odd behavior from before and Noah felt like she didn’t want to get into anything too personal with him. And so Noah decided to drop the issue. Then propose.
Noah proposed to Allison despite certain misgivings and the two went out to dinner at the big house as a happily engaged couple.
Things were going good after that. They had come up with a story about how they met for Yvonne and her husband. And following dinner, Yvonne took a personal interest in Noah’s story. She wanted to offer him some advice about how to finish his book and Noah was just about to agree in letting her reading it when his daughter Whitney suddenly showed up.
Whitney had mistaken Yvonne’s house for Noah’s so she was angry that her father was living in a mansion. And even when the truth had been revealed, there was plenty of other things for Whitney to still be angry about. Like the engagement ring for instance.
Whitney wanted to take the ring right off of Allison’s finger and her father had to physically step in to stop her. So Whitney had a breaking point and Noah found it. He got engaged to another woman while he was still technically married to Helen and that made Whitney cry.
However, once she had come to accept what Noah did, Noah then had to ask her to keep it a secret. He didn’t want his engagement to be used against him in his meetings with Helen and Whitney was at a point in her life where she didn’t like her mother that much anyway. Well, at least according to Noah. So Noah felt happier about his situation after Whitney had left.
He later met up with his old friend Max and the two had mentioned they were in better places. Max had told Noah about his new relationship that he thinks is going to work but he said it was too early to introduce Noah to her. And Noah said he was getting divorced. So Max offered to give a gift of fifty grand. Just to stay on top of things.
And the two men parted as friends without ever mentioning Helen. Though strangely Helen ended up finding just cause to stop mediation and simply serve Noah the divorce papers. So that might have had something to do with Whitney’s real motives for visiting her dad.
Unbeknownst to Noah, things were a lot different from Allison’s side of the fence. And Whitney had approached her to ask about Scotty Lockhart’s whereabouts. Thus that’s probably why she started to play nice with both Allison and Noah all of sudden and her disappointment with Allison could be why Helen abruptly filed for divorce.
Helen had hired Jon Gottlief who was apparently a shark in the courtroom and so it didn’t look too good for Noah in his divorce proceedings. But he did have better chances at beating the murder charges thanks to Helen hiring John for him. John didn’t seem to car if Noah had killed Scotty. His main concern was how they were going to get Noah off.
And in their last meeting, John definitely showed Allison more respect. Maybe that had something to do with her husband being there as well yet the last time they saw each other it had been John that Allison feel like an outsider. While he also made it known that he still viewed Noah and Helen as a team.
So Allison had mixed feelings about Noah’s representation and there was a point at the end when she looked at John as if she didn’t trust him and that happened after he said they might just have to find out who really killed Scotty.
THE END!
