Tonight’s episode of The Bachelor kicks off with the rose ceremony in Deadwood – Chris Soules reveals to the other girls that he sent both Ashley I. and Kelsey home on the 2-on-1 date to the Badlands. They all gush about how happy they are that he seen through the two girls’ fake facades and drama.

Megan takes Chris Soules aside at the cocktail party and tells him that she doesn’t think their relationship is progressing. Chris admits that he is moving forward with the other girls and he doesn’t think that the feelings are there between them. Megan announces that she is going to go home, and Chris Soules walks her outside to the car. He hates to see her go, but they both say their good-byes. Inside the other girls are astonished that another one of them is leaving.

Chris Soules heads back inside to his final sex women, he explains that Megan just left and she was one of the “nicest people he has ever met.” Kaitlyn is sad to see Megan go because she was a great person, but at the same time she is relieved because she thinks that they are all safe tonight. Then, Chris Harrison walks in and announces that there is still going to be a rose ceremony – and another one of them is going home. Chris Soules takes Chris Harrison aside and says that he “doesn’t know if he can go through with the rose ceremony.”

Chris Soules heads back in to the cocktail party, he tells the girls that he knows how hard the week has been on them. So, he talked to Chris Harrison and has cancelled the rose ceremony because he has strong feelings for all sex of them. Chris Soules announces to Jade, Kaitlyn, Becca, Whitney, Carly, and Britt that he is taking them all to his hometown in Iowa – they all squeal with excitement.

The next day the final six girls arrive in Iowa, the pressure is on because this is the final week before hometown dates. The girls arrive at the hotel and make themselves at home. The first date card arrives and Britt reads it aloud, “Jade, join me in my hometown – Chris.” The girls all squeal about how exciting it is because she is the first girl to get a second 1-on-1 date with The Bachelor, and of all places it is in his hometown. Britt says she is happy for Jade, but also confesses that she is jealous. Jade gets dressed and ready for her date, while all the girls gossip in the other room about how lucky she is.

Jade arrives at Chris’s house in Arlington, Iowa – and Chris Soules rushes outside to greet her. After a hot make-out session, Chris Soules takes her inside to give her a tour. They head outside and Chris shows off some of his fields and gushes that “owning land is his passion.” Chris takes Jade on a walk to meet his cows. Jade confesses that the reality of being in Iowa is settling in – and she isn’t sure if she is ready to move to the middle of nowhere.

At the hotel another date card arrives and Becca reads it aloud, “Whitney – let’s look for love in Des Moines.” Whitney squeals with excitement, and admits she is a little sad that she is going to the city and she doesn’t get to see Chris’s hometown like Jade did. Meanwhile, Britt is getting more and more upset because she realizes that she is not getting a 1-on-1 date in Iowa.

Chris and Jade hop on his motorcycle and head in to town – Jade is overwhelmed by how small Arlington is, and it is a ghost town. There are literally only like two business still remaining in town. There is no bars, restaurants, or even a grocery store. Jade feels guilty because she can tell that Chris is insecure about his home town and how small and empty it is.

Then Chris takes Jade to a high-school football game at the school he graduated from in Arlington – Chris introduces Jade to all of his friends in the stands and then takes her to meet his parents. Jade gushes to his parents about their first date and how she got to dress as Cinderella. Jade is on Cloud 9 because she knows she is the first one of the girls to meet Chris’s parents. Chris and Jade sneak in to the high-school and Chris takes a trip down memory lane and tells him about her glory days. Jade admits that when she was in high-school she was a bit of a rebel, Chris Soules says that he can tell she has a “good head on her shoulders.” Jade has a huge secret to tell Chris about her past – but she doesn’t think it is the right time to tell him yet.

The next day Whitney Bischoff heads out on her 1-on-1 date to Des Moines with Chris Soules. He surprises her with a trip to check out some local Iowa art, then they go on a tour of the city and document themselves by taking pictures all over Des Moines together. Meanwhile at the hotel Jade is filling the other girls in on her trip to Arlington. They are annoyed that they are so close to Chris’s hometown, and didn’t get to see it. If they marry Chris they will have to move there – and they think they have a right to see what it is all about. While Chris is in Des Moines with Whitney, the other girls decide to take a road trip to Arlington without him.

Britt, Carly, Becca, and Kaitlyn arrive in Arlington and they are shocked by how empty it is. Britt is confused and doesn’t understand how they can be on the main road because there are not stores or businesses – within ten seconds they have passed through the entire town. They get out of the car and decide to take a tour, but all of the businesses are closed and the doors are locked. They run in to the pastor of the church and quiz him about what it is like to live in Arlington.

Meanwhile, Chris and Whitney head out for drinks at a restaurant, and three men approach them. Whitney thinks they are just fans that recognized him from The Bachelor, but then Chris reveals that they are his best friends and he invited them there to meet Whitney. Chris’s friends join them for drinks and they quiz Whitney about how she feels about The Bachelor and if she is willing to move to Arlington to meet him.

Britt, Becca, Kaitlyn, and Carly head back to the hotel and they report to Jade that she is right – and Arlington is very small. While they were in Arlington, Britt told the other girls she couldn’t see herself living there. But, when they got back to the hotel, Britt began gushing that she would love to move there with Chris and have a family. Carly can’t believe how fake Britt really is. The last date card arrives – Britt, Carly, and Kaitlyn are invited on a group date. Kaitlyn is not thrilled, she needs more time with Chris and was hoping for a 1-in-1 date.

Jade takes Carly aside and tells her that she has a confession to make. She explains to Carly that she has been keeping a secret from Chris and she doesn’t know how to tell him. Carly’s jaw drops when Jade confesses that she did some nude modeling for Playboy and it is all over the internet. Jade is scared that Chris’s family will see the videos of her online – and she doesn’t want them to be judgmental about it. Jade knows that she has to tell Chris soon because she doesn’t want him to find out from anyone else.

Kaitlyn, Carly, and Britt head out on their group date and they meet Chris Soules at an ice-skating rink. They all get their ice-skates on, and then they play hockey with each other. The girls are definitely better skaters than Chris – who spent more time lying on the ice than he did hanging out with them. Britt steals Chris for some 1-on-1 time, and they head outside of the rink to chat with each other. Britt confesses to Chris that she and the other girls snuck away yesterday and went to Arlington. He is shocked that they drove 3 hours just to see his hometown. Britt gushes about how much she loved it, and can picture herself living there – which is the exact opposite of what she told the girls yesterday.

Afterwards Carly sits down with Chris and tells him that Britt has been completely fake, she cries that she doesn’t want Chris to get hurt because she can tell he really like her. Carly fills him in on their trip to Iowa and says that Britt lied to him, she actually said that she hated how small his hometown was and she could never see herself living there.

When they are done at the ice-skating rink, Chris, Britt, Carly, and Kaitlyn head out for drinks together. Chris takes Britt aside to chat and try to get to the bottom of what Carly told him. Britt gushes to Chris that she wants to take him to her hometown to introduce him to her family, because she knows that her family will love him. Chris asks her if she is sure she would want to live in Arlington, Britt sticks to her story and says that she wants to go wherever Chris is and she can see herself having children in his hometown and being a mother. Kaitlyn sits down with Chris Soules next – she says that she feels like she has been on the backburner for a while, but Chris reassures her that they are in a good place. Chris gives Kaitlyn the group date rose to reinforce his feelings for her.

After Britt receives the group date rose, Chris apologizes to Carly and Britt because they are upset that Kaitlyn received the rose. Britt is upset and begins rambling to Chris in front of all of the other girls about how hurt that she is after she told him she wanted him to meet his family. She tells Chris that she doesn’t want to be her future husband’s second, third, or fourth choice. Britt wanted that rose to validate their relationship. Chris tries to reason with her, and Britt thinks that he is telling her to go home if she wants to. He explains that he can’t have this conversation in front of the other girls with her and tells them all goodnight and leaves.
