“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers for the week of July 13-17 tease that we’ll see some defining moments for Maya (Karla Mosley) and her parents. After Julius (Obba Babatunde) warms up to Maya, Vivienne (Anna Maria Horsford) and Nicole (Reign Edwards) will question his sudden turnaround. Could Maya’s association with the Forrester riches be the driving force behind this reconciliation attempt? It’s certainly possible. Julius was completely against the idea of even recognizing Maya as a female. Now Julius seems to be making an effort. Whatever the case, Maya will insist that both Julius and Vivienne accept her as she is or they won’t be in her life.
Julius will also have a chat with Rick (Jacob Young) to find out just how committed he is to Maya. Rick will make it clear that he loves Maya and the fact that she’s transgender hasn’t changed that. Meanwhile, Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) will get ready to feature their new designs at a Forrester Creations fashion show. Ridge will choose Maya to be the star of the big day, but you can also expect some famous faces alongside her. Two real-life transgender models will join Maya on the runway. Check out Isis King from “America’s Next Top Model” and Carmen Carrera from “RuPaul’s Drag Race” on Wednesday’s episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
The fashion show will serve as Maya’s chance to let her parents see how far she’s come. Vivienne and Julius will begin to notice how comfortable Maya is in her own skin. This could be the breakthrough the family has been hoping for. Of course, the special event won’t be a joyous occasion for all. Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) will be crushed when Liam (Scott Clifton) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) continue to bond. Luckily, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) will be around to lend a sympathetic ear.
To close out the week, we’ll see Aly (Ashlyn Pearce) come completely unhinged. Aly has been on the verge of a breakdown for a while now and the fashion show will push her over the edge. When Aly hears the applause and cheers for the line she’s deemed far too sexy, she’ll fly into a rage. Just how far will Aly go? B&B rumors say this could get ugly.
