“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers reveal that Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) decision to fire Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) could have serious consequences. It seems Steffy thought Ivy would just give up, but she may be very mistaken. Ivy has Wyatt (Darin Brooks) on her side and it appears Bill (Don Diamont) will come on board as well. If that plan flops, the rumors hint that Ivy could blindside Steffy with a bold move.
Many B&B viewers thought it was odd that Ivy suddenly gave up all her power by deleting the video, but what if she didn’t? Perhaps we’ll see Ivy pull out one last copy as her final option. Of course, Ivy would be back where she started in terms of taking it to the police. Ivy may have lashed out in her grief over Aly’s (Ashlyn Pearce) death, but she’s a good person at heart. Ivy would likely wrestle with the decision to give the evidence to the cops. After all, taking someone’s job away isn’t quite the same as taking someone’s freedom. Nevertheless, people have limits and Ivy may be reaching hers.
Even if Ivy decided against turning Steffy in, that doesn’t mean it would be the end of the matter. Wyatt is definitely smitten with Ivy and we all know what happens when he falls hard for a woman. Quinn (Rena Sofer) is bound to insert herself into the situation before long. If Wyatt’s efforts to defend Ivy fail, Quinn might resolve to help her baby boy out. Quinn preferred Wyatt with Steffy in the beginning, but she’s starting to warm up to Ivy. Besides, Quinn is probably tired of watching Wyatt do battle with Liam (Scott Clifton) over women. Quinn ultimately just wants Wyatt to be happy.
You can bet that if the video still exists, Quinn could get her hands on it. Quinn might even come across it by mistake. Quinn tends to turn to knives and swords as her preferred method of revenge, but this time she could ditch the weapons and win with solid proof. If Quinn leaks the footage to the police, Steffy would be in very hot water. Regardless of the circumstances leading up to Aly’s death, Steffy obviously looks guilty in the clip.
It’s not clear how much longer Jacqueline MacInnes Wood will be sticking around on “The Bold and the Beautiful.” Wood agreed to do an extended stint, but we don’t know just how extended it is. When Wood signed her current contract, she said she’d be on the CBS soap for “a much longer stay,” but that could mean anything. If the video proves Steffy played a role in Aly’s death, Steffy could be looking at murder charges and prison time. It’d be the perfect way to write Steffy out if Wood was ready to take another break.
On the other hand, it’s possible the cops could buy Steffy’s story, but that wouldn’t let her off the hook entirely. Steffy would undoubtedly be convicted in the eyes of the public. It’d be hard for Steffy to be the face of Forrester if there were whispers of murder hanging over her head. Steffy might go back to Europe for a while to let the bad press die down. Could Steffy be sent to sulk in Paris? Stay tuned to “The Bold and the Beautiful” to see if Steffy will have to pay for her ruthlessness.
