“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers for Tuesday, September 1, tease that Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) will be overcome with emotion after Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) recent revelation. Ridge seems to think he’s holding Caroline back from fulfilling her dreams. With that in mind, Ridge feels it’s best for Caroline to move on with someone else who will be able to give her the family she dreams of. Unfortunately, Caroline isn’t ready to let go of Ridge yet and his break up with her has crushed Caroline. Caroline had hoped to have it all with Ridge, but he’s completely shattered her vision for the future.
Luckily, Thomas (Pierson Fode) will provide a shoulder to cry on. “The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers reveal that Thomas will offer some words of encouragement. Thomas will say that maybe Ridge is starting to see what he’s been seeing. In Thomas’ mind, Caroline is simply giving up too much to be with Ridge. A good relationship should be about give and take, but it appears Ridge is doing all of the taking. Thomas will likely urge Caroline to take the opportunity she’s been given and follow her dreams with another man.
Meanwhile, Ridge will open up to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) about his decision to set Caroline free. Ridge will insist that this is all for the best. It’s time for Caroline to find someone with the same wants and needs. Ridge can’t be the guy she wants him to be. Of course, Thomas would love to step in as Caroline’s beau. Thomas has had his eye on Caroline from the moment he got back in town. These two have a history together and they’re in a much more appropriate age range. Thomas probably thinks he’s a far better match for Caroline.
Still, Caroline has fallen hard for Ridge and she doesn’t know what to do. “The Bold and Beautiful” spoilers say Caroline will sob and indicate that she can’t help it if she loves Ridge. B&B rumors hint that things will soon heat up for Caroline and Thomas. Are they meant to be or will Thomas just serve as a rebound?
