Cynthia and Kenya go to Claudia’s new apartment. She tells them about the fact that she went to Porsha’s event to support her. She says it reminds her of high school, which was tough because she was bullied for being half white.

She tells them how she pulled Porsha aside to clear the air while not apologizing. Kenya says they will always have her back.

Todd gets Kandi a role in a movie, which has connected her to her love of acting. She wants to learn about the film business so they can produce their own film.

She sees that he has packed more than her, and asks when he is coming home. He says he just wants a day to relax. When he asks her if she ever feels that way, she says no, she always rushes home to see them.

Apollo and Peter talk about Apollo’s jealousy over Phaedra’s text messages with a guy.

He says the two are counting down the days until she is free, and that he confronted her about it and she says she isn’t having an affair and she’s just talking to some African guy. He says he told her that people die over stuff like this, and Peter tells her he can’t let this mess up his sanity because everything can be permanently changed in one moment.

When Peter gets home, he talks to Cynthia and immediately tells her Apollo is crazy. He explains that a couple of days ago, Phaedra left her phone behind and Apollo found salacious texts between her and a man she calls “Chocolate.” He tells her about the threats Apollo made.

Cynthia finds the story too ridiculous to believe, but Peter says he’s seen the texts with his own eye.

Kenya needs help writing this project, which she never wanted to write in the first place. Brandon, her friend and producer, tells her just to work on the script and he will do everything else. When she goes to the casting, Claudia dresses the part for her audition as a Jamaican beauty supply store owner, a role that was written just for her.

Claudia has decided that now that reconciling with Porsha has failed, no communication is better than bad communication.

Ricky Smiley asks Claudia about Porsha. He says someone has to be the bigger person and apologize so that everyone can work together, immediately running off to go get Porsha. He says he feels tension between them, and Claudia says she doesn’t think he’s wrong in feeling that.

Porsha says they won’t work together, they work together in passing, and tells her to stop trying to start stuff with her. Ricky makes them squash their issues so everyone can work together.

Hanging out with her assistant, Kandi says she doesn’t know if it’s a good idea for her and her husband to create a movie together. She says he tries to control things and he knows he didn’t marry that kind of woman. Then she tells her friend that he isn’t the only one irritated, and that they haven’t been having sex more than about once a week, which she initiates.
She says she is suspicious he’s cheating, but he claims he isn’t. He asked her what advice she would give herself, she says she would tell herself to get some counseling or they may be headed toward divorce.

Phaedra and her assistant check the house to make sure everything is as it should be after Apollo threatened to do all kinds of things, including get the lights turned out and burn down the house. She has the locks all changed and the garage door opener changed, because she doesn’t know who Apollo has had in the home, she says in confessional. She tells her assistant she probably needs to brush up on her shooting skills because it has become ‘like The Nightmare on Elm Street’ and she is worried about the family’s safety.

Apollo suddenly shows up when she is changing the garage door openers. While he storms through the house, Phaedra asks if she should call the police on him.

Apollo was supposed to be in custody hours ago. “Luckily my children are with my mom, safe,” she says in confessional.

Apollo refers to Phaedra’s alleged “boyfriend,” a reference no one seems to understand. She tells him that she isn’t locking him out of the house, she’s locking out everyone else.  She pulls out her cell phone and he wonders if she’s going to call the police on him.  He says he may leave her with nothing since he built the entire house.

Phaedra calls Apollo’s friend Bun to talk some sense into Apollo. When Bun says Apollo wants to see his kids, she says he has seen his children already. Apollo says he has 72 hours to report.

Going up to his car, he is still yelling about how he never hit her and how mad he is, before finally driving off. He then comes right back, pulling out an electric screwdriver while Bun chases him into the house. He approaches Phaedra with it, and she tells him to go away. He tells her not to call the police, and she says he needs to start acting like he has sense.

“Apollo, I may not even be here when you come back,” she tells him. She also says she will pray for him, and he says she should pray for him and that she’s got all these people brainwashed, before storming off once again.

AFTERSHOW

Andy Cohen: NeNe and Tracy Ross are tonight’s guests.

He brings up the biggest event of the show, Apollo’s accusations that Phaedra is having an affair with a guy named “Chocolate.”

NeNe says she doesn’t know if that’s true and it’s strange Apollo was going around saying that. She says Phaedra has a girlfriend nicknamed “White Chocolate” for whom Phaedra threw a baby shower. The two of them have funny conversations with one another, so NeNe says the texts could have been to her.

Tonight’s poll question is: Do you think Phaedra is better off without Apollo?

NeNe says that what happened at the end of the episode between the two of them is a no for her.
Tracy Ross says she thinks Phaedra handled the situation very well because she didn’t provoke Apollo.

NeNe says she feels for Phaedra and that she laughed a couple of times at the things she was saying.

Andy shows a preview of the next episode, where “Phaedra reaches her breaking point”: Cynthia and Kenya accuse her of texting this man, and when Kenya keeps going on about Phaedra of having an affair with this man, Phaedra gets up like she’s about to throw something at her.

In response to a fan question asking her why she praised Porsha for dating a married man. NeNe says she never complimented Porsha for dating a married mad, just that she said if you’re going to date a married man, that’s the way to date one. “If you’re going to turn a trick, that’s how you turn one,” she says.

A viewer asks where NeNe’s wedding ring is, and she says her friend is holding it. Another viewer asks if she is at all intimidated by Claudia, and she says the question is way too dumb to answer.

Results of the live poll: 76% yes, 24% no.

THE END!
