Shannon and her husband get a romantic dinner by the water. She tells him she’s’ been talking on the phone a lot to Tamra and Heather. She says it’s funny because a few months ago, she was concerned if they could be with eachother and now they’re friends. David says it’s interesting how things turned, because they used to be so close to Vicki and Brooks. Shannon reads a text from Vicki in confessional. The text says that she is pissed and saddened by the cancer rumors. It also says she never said Shannon was nasty, the food was. “Does it make a difference?” Shannon says. She tells David that she knows she’s been a good friend to Vicki. “I know I’ve been a good friend to her, I’m sorry,” she says.
Tamra sits down with Pastor Mike. She says originally she met with him to know more about baptism, and now she’s realized she’s ready for it. Pastor Mike says that baptism is for imperfect people because no one is perfect, so everyone is accepted. Tamra says she wants her friends to be there and support her. The two of them then delve into some juicy and interesting Bibles. Tamra says that on the whole, she wants her family to be more involved in the church. Pastor Mike then starts spewing a bunch of crap about how she wants her kids to have good morals. Tamra tells him about her son’s current issues with his relationship. She breaks down into tears while talking about how her three marriages have made her a bad role model for marriage. Pastor Mike tells her to pray for Ryan, saying prayer is a powerful thing. They then close their eyes and pray together. Tamra breaks down into tears, and Pastor Mike tells her that’s good because God is touching her heart.
Vicki and Brooks go to a new doctor for help with his cancer. He takes an IV treatment. The two of them pop off in confessional, outraged that Vicki’s friends are doubting his condition.
Terry and Heather rehearse the HSN segment for their skin care products. Terry gets a little nervous reading the lines and fumbles the lines repeatedly.
Ryan and Sarah show Tamra their new place. Tamra says in confessional that it scares her to see their relationship spiral out of control. She tells the two of them she wants them to see Pastor Mike for help with their relationship, and Sarah goes for it.
Ryan asks Tamra what the entry fee is, saying he heard there was a church that charged $5 on Easter. Tamra says that isn’t true.
Meghan says in confessional that Jimmy suggested she be more lenient with Hayley because she is acting out in response to the rules she has been placing on her. She says that Hayley was raised by a mother and father, a family in which she wasn’t included. She asks Hayley if she’s been looking into hair school, and Hayley says she doesn’t know and that she wants to move out. She says she may go to both hair school and community college in case hair school is a failure.
Heather gives Terry confidence after the floptastic HSN rehearsal by telling him that they are lucky because they have had the great life experience of working on this for over a decade together. Terry asks if they can just go to bed now.
Tamra goes to Vicki’s house, where Brooks shows her his recent medical records to look over so she can stop the rumors. Tamra says in confessional that she thought Brooks has blood cancer, but she didn’t know if someone could get masses from blood cancer. She says in confessional that she wants to say that Brooks has cancer, but she can’t because she doesn’t know what she read. Vicki tells Tamra that she wants her to be her warrior, and that when Tamra’s weak, she will be her warrior. The two of them hug it out.
Heather and Terry shoot their live HSN broadcast.
Shannon and Tamra laugh at Terry’s appearance on the broadcast. One of the ingredients Terry lists make the women laugh because it is ‘the same thing Brooks uses for his cancer,’ which Meghan explains to Lizzie when she asks why everyone is laughing. Tamra prank calls them on the air and they figure it out almost immediately. Heather thanks her for tuning in and watching, and Tamra says they’re doing fabulous, Heather looks hot and she loves Terry’s spray tan. Terry laughs, denying he has a spray tan. “It’s the real thing,” he says. “Just like these products.” Heather treies rushing Tamra off the phone, but she asks if they offer friends and family discounts before she is hung up on.
HSN loves the couple’s performance.
Tamra tells everyone about Brooks and Vicki showing her the medical records. She tells them about the masses in his abdomen. Meghan says she looked up Newport Imaging and it didn’t say anything about offering the PET/CT scans.
Shannon says she thinks they do, but Meghan interrupts her: “I called,” she says. She tells them she called Newport Imaging twice, and asked them if they offered the PET/CT scans for Hodgkin’s lymphoma. She says that they told her they didn’t and told her to go to emergency. Tamra asks ifs he is sure, and she says she is sure and she called twice. Tamra says she didn’t know what she was reading, and she felt like she was being used as a pawn because Vicki wanted her to be her warrior but she couldn’t say anything for sure. Shannon says in confessional that she’s hurt Vicki and Brooks didn’t ask her to look at the records because she would have been the perfect person to do it. Tamra says she wanted to know why Vicki didn’t show the records to everyone. “Why didn’t she tell me?” Shannon asks. “No offense, Tamra, but why didn’t she tell me?” A befuddled Tamra asks if they think he’s lying and that he made this report up. “Yes, yes I do,” Meghan says immediately. She boldly says that she thinks his PET/CT scan is forged. Meghan says she wants the truth and justice. Tamra repeats that in true honesty she didn’t know what she read. She asks if Vicki asked her to read the records because she knew she wouldn’t be able to read it. Meghan asks why Vicki and Brooks didn’t ask Heather or Shannon to read the records. Tamra asks what they do now, and Shannon says there is nothing they can do. Tamra says that part of her thinks it isn’t her problem and that he has to answer to the man above. She says that if he’s lying, he’s sick in another way.
