The spoilers video promo for The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 11 has finally gone online, and it’s a doozy. Betrayal, murder, people leaving Mystic Falls, people returning, people dying, and best of all, an Elena [Nina Dobrev] and Damon [Ian Somerhalder] kiss! Now, I can imagine the actual kiss was a pain to shoot, considering the background of the two actors involved, but it’s a long-awaited moment for diehard fans of the show and diehard fans of ‘Delena’.
The Vampire Diaries spoilers for Season 6 Episode 11 ‘Woke Up With A Monster’ reveals where the show will pick up after the small hiatus, revealing Elena’s confused relationship with Damon, her life in danger at the hands of newcomer Kai, Alaric and Jeremy leaving town, and Caroline’s mother dying and her last request to Stefan to take care of her daughter. Basically, things are happening in Mystic Falls, and you better tune in so that you don’t miss it.
Of course, most people only care about Elena’s kiss with Damon, and so, we’re here to go over the play-by-play on that scene. Elena is seen saying in the trailer, “If we’re gonna do this, we shouldn’t just pick up where we left off.” And then Damon replies, “I thought you wanted to start over. Because FYI, this is exactly where we left off.” And what does Elena do? She says, “I don’t care, life’s too short.” And they kiss. And fireworks explode, and fans’ heads also explode.
They’ve been leading up to this kiss for a very long time now, and considering that Elena and Damon are the show’s number 1 ‘ship’, it’s understandable. It’s clear that Elena and Damon are the show’s endgame, and while that may be difficult for the actors, it’s clearly something they’re going to have to suck up and deal with.
