‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Spoilers: Carl’s HUGE Loss, Enid’s Secrets Revealed, Negan Appears on Final Episode?

New details from the set of ‘The Walking Dead’ reveal season 6 spoilers that include details on Carl’s HUGE loss, Enid’s secrets finally being revealed, and address rumors Negan will appear on the final episode of the sixth season of TWD. We may have to wait until October 11 season 6 premier of ‘The Walking Dead,’ but these TWD plot teasers will help you deal with the walker withdrawal.

If you’ve read up on the graphic novels, you are likely anticipating a specific scene that involves Carl. It looks like that scene will be happening in the show! Thanks to the eagle-eyed Spoiling Dead Fans, rumors suggest the cast was spotted filming a scene in which Carl loses his eye. The show’s version is slightly different from the book’s sequence of events…

Rick, along with Michonne, Father Gabriel, Carl, Jessie, Ron, and Sam are all trapped inside an Alexandrian home after a herd of walkers invade the Safe Zone. Rick pulls out a trick he and Glen used in season 1, and the group cover themselves in walker blood and guts to mask themselves so they can escape. The group walks through the streets, holding hands to try and make it out. Sam quickly becomes zombie-food and Jessie panics during her attempt to save him. He’s clearly gone, but Jessie persists with Carl in tow. Refusing to let Carl go, Jessie is overtaken by the swarming walkers, dragging Carl down with her. Rick comes to Carl’s rescue, cutting off Jessie’s arm to free Carl and watches Jessie share the same fate as Sam. Ron, watching all this go down, freaks out and attempts to shot Rick, but Carl throws himself in the bullet’s path. Carl is shot in the eye.

Note that is not a confirmed scene, but it’s a safe bet after images hit of Chandler Riggs sporting a bandage over his eye hit the net. AMC was quick to have the images removed, so it supports the rumor. AMC is notorious for keeping secrets well-guarded, but have had some slips in the past. Remember when they accidently confirmed Shane’s death before airing the episode?

Enid, that mysterious creature that has captured Carl’s eye, (terrible pun, but it stays) will also reveal her secrets this season. Speculation of Enid’s flashback scenes being filmed have already made their way around the rumor mill, but showrunners have pretty much confirmed the use of flashback scenes to tell the story with a fresh dynamic. Thanks to sources who have been peeking at the set during filming, it’s likely Enid’s story relies heavily on how she lost her parents.

Greg Nicotero also revealed to EW that the premiere will pick up some time after we last saw Rick and his group. In fact, Greg suggested the season 6 premier of ‘The Walking Dead’ will open with viewers being plunged into the middle of a big action sequence. The show will then work backwards to cover the events that led up to the scene.

And Negan… he has been a highly anticipated character since Glen picked up the bat while walking through Noah’s old hometown. That wasn’t the only hint ‘The Walking Dead’ writers dropped during season 5. Noah cutting his head on some wire fence was another clever (and extremely debatable) hint that pointed to Negan’s favorite weapon – Lucille.

Whispers from sources suggest that Negan will finally make his appearance, but not until the last episode – the finale of ‘The Walking Dead’ season 6. Showrunners love to go out with bang and leave plenty of loose ends to lure fans back and keep them guessing. Having Negan make a last minute appearance would certainly be an amazing way to end season 6 of TWD, but at this point nothing is confirmed.

What do you think will happen in season 6 of ‘The Walking Dead’? Will Negan finally be brought onto the show? If Negan does arrive, does that mean the death of a fan-favorite cast member who has been a principal character since season 1?
