The Walking Dead season 6 spoilers are still hitting the net and fresh reports reveal Dwight’s character details, the Saviors arrival, and a HUGE hint Glenn is alive might have been teased. During last night’s episode of TWD, episode 6 titled ‘Always Accountable,’ fans got a taste of Negan’s followers including the pivotal character, Dwight. However, everyone is talking about that final moment when Daryl, Abraham, and Sasha hear that call for help.
Dwight, played by Austin Amelio, becomes a complex and important character in ‘The Walking Dead’ graphic novels. It appears his character in the comics has come to life in the TV show. Austin plays the henchman for Negan who is one of the few who dares to stand up to the leader of the Saviors.
As punishment, Negan viciously burns off half of Dwight’s face. Currently, Dwight is sporting an untouched face, so we know that the introduction of the new character to TWD was just a taste of what’s to come. You could classify Dwight as villain, thanks to fact he kills a fan-favorite character. However, Dwight also ends up helping Rick with the war against Negan after becoming a double-agent.
With Dwight surfacing, that means the Saviors finally arriving. While the Wolves are still on the back burner for Alexandria, Negan’s followers are making a slow segway into the show. While not as ruthless as the Wolves, the Saviors are more deadly thanks to the fear of Negan.
The group offers “protection” of fellow surviving communities in exchange for supplies. Taking the lion’s share, the Saviors are ordered to kill when Negan deems their “payment” for protection inadequate.
As for that final scene in season 6, episode 6, Daryl, Abraham, and Sasha hear a call for help over the radio. Fans are creating theories, and a popular possibility centers around a HUGE hint Glenn is alive.
While, fans will finally learn of Glenn’s fate in season 6, episode 7, Norman Reedus told EW, the voice fans heard was NOT Glenn. “I will say that voice is not Glenn. It’s not Glenn. But it’s probably somebody at Alexandria with all we know that’s happening there,” Reedus explained.
