“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, August 26, tease that the Newmans and the Abbotts are about to go their separate ways, at least in the business world. They’ll all gather for a meeting about officially dissolving Newman-Abbott. However, it seems Victor (Eric Braeden) will have two final demands. Victor will want Abby (Melissa Ordway) to stay at Newman Enterprises and he’ll want to ensure that Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) line remains there as well.
Jack (Peter Bergman) won’t like that Victor thinks he can take anything he wants, but Victor will insist this is how it has to be. Abby will agree that she wants to stick with Newman Enterprises and they’ll move onto the issue of Chelsea’s line. Victor will argue that he wants to preserve Connor’s (Michael and Nolan Webb) legacy as a Newman. Billy (Burgess Jenkins) will contend that Connor thinks of him as his father, but Victor will snap back that Connor will always be Adam’s (Justin Hartley) son. Jack will pipe up that Adam wouldn’t want Victor involved in Connor’s life.
In Paris, Adam will jump the gun on buying a house. Chelsea won’t approve of Adam’s decision to get the process started without her, but she’ll eventually come around. Adam will suggest that he wants to prove how committed he is to starting fresh with Chelsea. They’ll celebrate their purchase with some drinks and a make-out session. Billy will call and give Chelsea updates on Victor’s intention of holding onto her line. Adam will insist that Chelsea can’t just hand everything over to Victor.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will tell Victor she’s not so sure Chelsea is even coming back to Genoa City. Gabriel (Justin Hartley) wants Chelsea to stay in Paris. Victor will reply that Gabriel will hate the fact that he’s trying to take control of Chelsea’s line, which means Chelsea and Connor will soon be on their way home. Meanwhile, Abby will wonder what Ashley (Eileen Davidson) thinks about her decision to remain at Newman Enterprises. Ashley will indicate that she’d feel better about things if Abby was at Jabot, but it wasn’t her decision to make. Abby will also inform Ashley that Stitch (Sean Carrigan) will be moving in.
Jack will let Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) know that he wants to focus on their relationship since they lost so much time recently. With that in mind, Jack will suggest that he needs to step back at Jabot. Phyllis won’t want him to give it all up for her and she’ll hint that maybe Jack could make Ashley co-CEO. Jack will go along with the idea, but he’ll want to make sure Phyllis is his top priority.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Nick (Joshua Morrow) will ask Sage (Kelly Sullivan) to get married that night at sunset and she’ll agree. They’ll decide on a casual event in the park with just the kids. Since Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan) can perform marriages in Wisconsin, he’ll be able to marry Sage and Nick. Noah (Robert Adamson) will take pictures for them. As the preparations get underway, Noah will head over to tell Sharon (Sharon Case) about the wedding. Sharon will lash out at Noah for feeling the need to clue her in. Sharon will add that she’s on her meds and her head isn’t going to explode just because Nick is tying the knot.
Later, Sharon will have a nightmare about Dylan (Steve Burton) holding their child. When the infant suddenly disappears, Dylan will panic and ask where the baby is. Sharon will wake up startled, but Dylan will assure her it was only a dream. Y&R rumors indicate that Sharon will continue to be tormented by the loss of her child. How long can Sharon keep her miscarriage news a secret from Dylan? Stay tuned to the CBS soap to see if Sharon’s deception will cost her.
