“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, December 30, tease that Abby (Melissa Ordway) will be thrilled that her wedding day has finally arrived. Abby’s female relatives will help her get ready to tie the knot. Meanwhile, Dylan (Steve Burton) will wonder if Stitch (Sean Carrigan) is having any second thoughts.
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will appear and Stitch will indicate that he’s grateful for all her help. After Ashley rushes off, Stitch will tell Dylan that he’s certain Abby is the only woman for him. Stitch will suggest that the only thing missing from this ceremony is his son.
Abby will also have Stitch’s son on her mind as she repeatedly checks her phone for messages. Abby will say she hoped that Jenna would reconsider. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will tell Abby that she shouldn’t let it get her down. This is Abby’s wedding day and she should enjoy it.
At Newman Enterprises, Adam (Justin Hartley) will say he needs to do something before he heads to the wedding. Noah (Robert Adamson) will be suspicious, but Victor (Eric Braden) will tell him he has no idea what Adam is up to. Adam will find Abby and ask for a favor.
He’ll want to invite Marisa (Sofia Pernas) and Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) to the ceremony.
Ashley won’t be on board, but Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will think Adam’s plan to end the fighting sounds reasonable. Abby will agree to let them come as long as they don’t stir up trouble. Adam will be pleased by Abby’s cooperation.
Elsewhere, Luca will tell Marisa about the wedding and he’ll give her the news that he’s working with Adam on a new project. Marisa will advise Luca to proceed with caution when it comes to Adam. They’ll arrive for the wedding and Victor will angrily ask what they’re doing there. Adam will explain that it was his idea and Abby approved it.
Adam and Luca will step over to the bar. Luca will be shocked at the way Victor berated Adam in public. Luca’s dad does it in private. Adam will insist that they need to take care of their fathers once and for all.
At the lab, Neil (Kristoff St. John) will learn that Dr. Neville (Michael E. Knight) is escorting Ashley to ceremony. Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will ask for a ride to the event and Neil will agree to give her one.
Devon (Bryton James) and Lily (Christel Khalil) will chat as they wait for the wedding to start. Lily will mention that Cane (Daniel Goddard) couldn’t come because he’s sick. However, Lily will think Christmas went well and she’ll hope that it meant something to Cane.
Devon will bring up how he spent the holidays with Hilary. Their effort to be friends seems to be working out.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will be irked when Billy (Burgess Jenkins) doesn’t have the money he promised. Billy will assure Kevin that he’ll have it tomorrow.
Kevin will reply that if Billy doesn’t come through, he’ll have to get the investment from someone else. Billy will go to Jack (Peter Bergman) and ask for a $2.2 million loan.
Jack will realize that Billy must have been betting. He’ll refuse to provide the cash without knowing what Billy has gotten himself into. Billy will be upset that Jack didn’t have faith in him and he’ll storm out. In a parking garage, a furious bookie will tell Billy that it’s time to pay.
Everyone will make sure Abby has everything she needs before she ties the knot. That includes something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. Abby will receive some earrings from Victoria (Amelia Heinle).
Traci (Beth Maitland) will hand over a bracelet that was Colleen’s. Ashley will pull out an embroidered handkerchief that John (Jerry Douglas) gave her when she was a child. Abby will be touched and she’ll share a hug with Ashley.
The members of the wedding party will take their places and Victor will walk Abby down the aisle. Stitch and Abby will smile as they prepare to say their vows. Once the minister begins, Ashley will look pretty out of it.
When Ashley suddenly falls from her chair and collapses, everyone will rush over and try to help. Y&R viewers will be anxious to see how this situation gets resolved. Stick with the CBS soap for updates on the wedding chaos.
