The Young and the Restless spoilers bring us some off-screen drama today as Eric Braeden starts more trouble Twitter with Sharon Case! The drama going on behind the scenes of the CBS soap The Young and the Restless is usually far more interesting than any spoilers or casting news that we receive. Regardless of who is bickering behind the scenes of Y&R – one name always seems to stay the same – Eric Braeden.
If there is something scandalous going down at the CBS soap, the Victor Newman portrayer always seems to be right smack in the middle of it. Although Braeden’s nemesis Michael Muhney was officially fired from the soap (and the jury is still out on whether or not Braeden was responsible), Eric Braeden seems to have set his sights on tormenting Sharon Case – Michael Muhney’s close friend and the only castmate who stood by his side and supported him when he was accused of groping Hunter King and fired.
Eric Braeden has always been an active Twitter user – and chats with his fans all day long, every day. But, he also has a tough time getting along with everyone on the social media site and is constantly bickering with Y&R fans and even slamming his own co-stars. On January 6th Eric Braeden shocked his followers when he randomly retweeted a statement claiming that Sharon Case “did very unprofessional things to Eric Braeden.”
Now, we are still scratching our heads – trying to figure out what exactly it is that Sharon Case supposedly did to Eric Braeden, or why he is addressing it now and is putting it on social media really necessary? Eric Braeden’s behavior on Twitter often has us questioning whether he is in middle school or his mid 70’s, so far Sharon Case has not responded to the obvious diss.
Rumor has it that a few years ago when the Y&R writers put Sharon Newman and Victor Newman together – Sharon had the storyline killed because she didn’t like it, and that is the “unprofessional thing” that Eric Braeden is referring to. Another obvious possibility would be that Sharon stood by Muhney after his feud with Victor Braeden, and she also supported Billy Miller’s move to General Hospital after Eric Braeden made it very clear it was not okay.
