‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers: Harding Killed – Sharon Hides Miscarriage – Dylan Proposes – Marco Sent Back to Peru

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, August 24, tease that Detective Harding (Chris McKenna) gets shot during the confrontation with Dylan (Steve Burton) and Paul (Doug Davidson). They’ll try to get answers from Harding about who he was working with, but he’ll pass out before they can get him to confess. Stitch (Sean Carrigan) will arrive to take a look at Harding, but he’ll declare that he’s dead. Dylan will lament the fact that Harding’s secret died with him, but Paul will insist that it was unavoidable. Harding would’ve killed Dylan if he hadn’t been stopped.

After the incident plays out on the security camera feed, Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will let Sharon (Sharon Case) know that Harding took the bullet instead of Dylan. Noah (Robert Adamson) will feel like they finally have justice for Austin (Matthew Atkinson) and Courtney (Kelli Goss). Kevin and Noah will head the athletic club for updates on what went down. Sharon, Summer (Hunter King) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will follow along after them. When they all arrive, Stitch will say that Harding died. Dylan will note that Harding didn’t give a confession, but he thinks he was the killer.

Kevin will be confused about how Marco (Peter Bergman) ties in with Harding. The whole DNA swap thing just didn’t seem like a coincidence. Meanwhile, Sharon will start having some cramps and she’ll decide to go to the hospital. The doctor will check Sharon out and inform her that she lost the baby. Later, Sharon will come home to find glowing candles all over the house. Dylan will apologize for not taking Sharon’s fears seriously. Dylan will add that he just wants to be there for his new family and he’s dropping this cop idea. Sharon will try to explain, but Dylan will ask her to marry him. A stunned Sharon will accept Dylan’s proposal without telling him about the miscarriage. Y&R rumors hint that Sharon could try to steal Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) baby down the road.

Stitch and Abby (Melissa Ordway) will have a deep conversation about where their relationship is at. Abby will be happy that she doesn’t need Stitch to be her bodyguard anymore, but it seems she’s tired of feeling distant from him. Even though they’re together, Abby still feels alone. Stitch will admit that he hasn’t done a good job of opening up in the past. When Stitch promises to try harder, they’ll share a hug.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Victor (Eric Braeden) will insist that he’ll take care of Marco in his own way. Jack (Peter Bergman) will rip the tape off Marco’s mouth and demand more answers. Marco will say Harding ended up killing to make sure Victor’s plan stayed under wraps. Victor will think Marco is blaming him and Jack will say Victor is indeed at fault since he started this mess.

Victor will tell Marisa (Sofia Pernas) to keep her mouth shut and she’ll return to Noah. Marisa will give Noah the news that Marco won’t be a problem any longer. Back at the cabin, Jack will want to tell the police about Victor’s scheme. Victor will remind Jack about Kelly’s (Cady McClain) murder and the cargo ship explosion. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will suggest that they shouldn’t throw away their future together just for revenge on Victor.

Jack will worry that Marco could come back and take over his life again someday. Victor will indicate that he’s taken precautions to make sure they’ll never get Jack and Marco confused again. On a jet headed for Peru, Marco will wince as he touches a large bandage covering his ear. It appears the Marco storyline is finally wrapping up, but will Kevin keep digging for the truth about his connection to the murders? Stick with the CBS soap to see if the cabin crew will ever get all of this sorted out.
