“The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that a shocking twist is headed your way. On Friday, September 4, Y&R viewers will learn who’s behind the Paragon Project. It seems the Ian Ward (Ray Wise) is the brains of this operation. It’s a surprising reveal, but it makes sense. If anyone can take down Victor (Eric Braeden), it would be Ian. However, it looks like Ian has an accomplice. We’ll soon see that Adam (Justin Hartley) is unknowingly helping Ian’s hidden agenda.
In Friday’s episode, Jack (Peter Bergman) will stop by to talk to Victor about the Paragon Project. Victor will ask if Jack’s there to come clean, but Jack will wonder if this top-secret scheme even exists. However, if there is a plot in the works, Jack will believe they need to do something about it. Jack and Victor will have to work together if they want to get to the bottom of the mysterious threat.
Of course, we know that the Paragon Project is indeed real and it’s about to enter its next phase. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Adam will overhear the news that Victor will be attending Katherine’s (Jeanne Cooper) memorial. Adam will quickly text someone and suggest that tonight is their chance. The Paragon Project is in motion.
Adam will head to Victor’s office, where he’ll get on his laptop and enter a code. While he’s getting ready for this takedown, Adam will make a phone call and say that it’s go time. Adam will notice a power outage across Genoa City and the tech guy on the other line will reply that he did it. It will provide a cover for them and wipe out the security cameras. Adam will insist that they have to hurry. They only have a limited window of time while everyone is at the memorial. The screen will show that the Paragon Project has been initiated.
The tech guy on the other end will tell his boss that Adam wants to finish it. Ian will flash a smug smile and declare, “Do it!” Adam desperately wants to bring Victor down, but it appears he’s inadvertently aiding Ian. There’s a good chance that Ian has been using his tech guy as a go-between so he could rope Adam into this plot. The rumors hint that Joe (Scott Elrod) may be another ally of Ian’s. It sounds like the Paragon Project is going create an exciting storyline over the next few months. Stick with “TheYoung and the Restless” for updates on the grand plan to bring Victor down.
